Modesto Town House Lodge
Hotel was conveniently located and priced right. It had some drawbacks: 1. Toilet too close to shower. Had to sit on it sideways due to no leg room. 2.Ice machine didn't work. 3. Rooms were dated and not very well sound proofed 4. Showers did not appear to get regular cleanings. The staff was generally helpful and nice.

Infrequent Traveler
My stay in Modesto
The hotel was centrally located. I was a short drive away from the friend I was visiting, and the place I ate dinner. Found no problems with the room, or the staff. For others, the only problem I could forsee is the hotel being close to train tracks, and a fire station.

Barbie, Super Broker
Bad experience.
We were charged 2 times on our credit card; [...] When we got to the best Western in Modesto, they had no record of our charge, so we were charged again. We are trying to get a credit at this time.There was a wedding next door and the band was very loud. I finally called the desk and explained the California Civil Code to the clerk and suggest her calling the police since it was after 10 p.m. She should have been instructed by the Owner/Manager to do this automatically! The next day we spoke with several people who had a hard time sleeping due to the noisy band. I am surprised that the hotel does not have a policy with the place next door about the noise level for their "tenants". We will not return to that hotel again. We go up to visit our daughter and new grandson and really need a quiet place to stay.

I enjoyed the updated rooms but the house cleaning was low on my list. carpet not vacummed bathroom floor and shower not cleaned, no extra toilet paper and beds were not made professionally made me think are there clean sheets on bed. Great price, upgraded rooms, breakfast was good, staff excellent okay location for the night.

Safe wedding celebrator
Best Western Town House Lodge
I booked this hotel to have a comfortable place to walk to after a wedding celebration. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Only stayed one evening, so did not check out the pool or breakfast.
