Great for quick access to SFO
We were just looking for a place to spend the night before a very early flight out of SFO, and this place was more than suitable. Friendly staff, free continental breakfast, free shuttle to the airport (which is only about a mile away) are all great, and the room cleanliness was nice too. New TV, very nice bathroom... I'd stay here again if I needed quick access to SFO.

Dinner with my Brother on my Way to China
My wife and I stayed here one night after flying up from Los Angeles to SFO, on my way to 21 days of R&R in China and Tibet. We wanted to see my brother and sister-in-law before leaving, so proposed dinner at a nearby restaurant. The hotel was a short shuttle ride from SFO (one calls for a shuttle pickup) and is with a couple of blocks from a BART station. So they took the BART down from El Cerrito, arrived about when we did, and we went off to a highly rated Italian restaurant within walking distance, passing several other restaurants on the way. Room was okay, non-smoking, first floor, pretty quiet despite being near rail, highway and a busy street. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything in order and the price was right -- great for one night. Also has a bank within sight if one needs to go to an ATM. So location is wonderful for a variety of reasons.

A variety of restaurants -- Chinese, Vietnamese, American Diner, Italian -- are within a short walk. Hotel breakfast was okay for us -- not fancy but included fresh fruit as I remember.

Great location. One block from the BART Caltrans Millbrae station. Shuttle pick up was very handy for an early morning trip to SFO

US Open Marshall
Great location near the bart.
Our experience was very good. We liked using the BART going to and from the US Open. The staff was friendly, the rooms are clean, the breakfast was great, and most of all the fresh cookies at the counter were a bonus. Also getting a nice meal was within walking distance of the Hotel. We will definately stay again sometime.

Fussy lady
They need new beds and pillows
My husband and I both said you get what you pay for. After 3 plus hotels in San Francisco and Monterey this two star was not up to our standards. Very nice room but the bed and pillows were substandard and not having a bathtub was disappointing.

My Trip
The hotel was great, right by the BART and some great restaurants, however, the flight from St Louis to LA the lay over in LA was too long, making the final flight back to Honolulu a very long and tiring flight.

Zackery's - from the outside it doesn't look like much, but you can't judge a book by it's cover and we went inside and were extremely pleased. Except for the Pittsburg Steeler fans cheering the Steelers on that night, the food, atmosphere, price and server were GREAT!
