My Stay
All in all, it was what I needed. Somewhere close for a job interview the following morning. The only drawbacks were the showerhead is like one I'd expext to find in jail and the other big one was ANTS ! Ants all over the bathroom. Not infested but there were enough to notice once you went into the bathroom. I probably won't stay there again.

DO NOT STAY HERE
Firstly, could not understand the staff. Secondly the shower leaked out in to the room.Thirdly the staff would hide from you, not wanting to respond to any issues. The breakfast was a joke, no milk for cereal, all three days, bad fruit, coffee was terrible. The room had dirt smears on the walls, the bathroom had been remodelled recently, but was done DIY. Barely any water pressure. The room smelled badly. The staff would not adjust the price for the terrible stay we had. I would never recommend this motel, or the staff.

Just one exit north on hwy 101there are many good places to eat. Both high end and casual. plus many starbucks and a safeway store.

good place to stop and stay
This hotel is clean, the front desk staff could have been a little nicer but they weren't rude. The room was big and clean. I've stayed here before for work since it is so close to the city. The road noise is a little loud but not too bad. The only problem I've had here is the first time I stay there was no hot water my first night. By the time I stayed here again I had forgotten about it and this time the water got warm but never actually got hot. Other than that this is a nice place, and convenient.

Clean, Plain, Friendly
This hotel suited my needs in all ways. It's very basic and bare-bones in terms of decor, but scrupulously clean and the staff was very friendly. The free juice, cereal, fruit and coffee in the morning was an unexpected pleasure. Internet worked fine and after some tutoring I was able to operate the tv system.... Although I didn't need them, a fridge and microwave in the room were a nice plus. Just fine for the budget traveler. ("Budget" in the context of Marin County. I feel room rates are vastly overpriced; but what to do?)

the room was clean
The room was clean. Front desk friendly. No coffee was available at the time of our stay (it said there would be). Good location and price for a budget trip to Sausalito without breaking the bank. We love to take a luch to Stinson Beach, a 25min drive up HWY 1.

Couldn't find a hotel in San Francisco. The web directed me here. The location was easy to get to from the City but very noisy.
