Nothing Special
Rooms are very small and not very nice. Don't plan on using the pool it's tiny and didn't look too clean.

No Air Man
Lack of Caring
We had requested handicapped assessible. When we arrived there were no first floor rooms available and they wanted an additional $20 for a room on the first floor. Upon leaving we required help getting medical equipment downstairs and had to rely on a tiny young housekeeper who struggled with the heavy oxygen tanks we had. Poor way to run a motel.

Great!
Pros: Staff was friendly and accommodating. We checked in an hour early and there was a room ready. The room was comfortable. We were able to get a hide-a-bed for the third person for only $15 per night. Heater worked with no smell! $10 cab to the beach. Easy to find. Continental breakfast. Cons: Could clearly hear people above us walking around. Ice machine out of order.

Long walk from hotel
The hotel staff said the beach was about a 15-20 minutes walk/ one mile down the road. It was just over a mile, but it seemed like a long walk. Took us 30 minutes at a moderate speed.

Great hotel great area.
Stayed here for 5 nights. Huge rooom, king size bed, big flat screen tv, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave and air conditioned. Room serviced every day very clean. Nice continental breakfast. Big car park for those with cars. While we didn't have a car there is a regular bus service costing just one dollar to Venice Beach and Santa Monica very close to the hotel. Plenty of nice restaurants and some shops within walking distance also.Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

for the price it was awful
i paid 155.00 for the stay and it wasn't worth it at all, it was cramp and i expected more space for the price i was disappointed. wouldn't stay there again.

A Place To Stay
I wanted a reasonably priced place to stay. That's what I got. Location is fair, parking is very cramped, and rooms were just OK. Staff was very nice. Food in walking distance. Venice Beach a mile away. Everything else is a drive. Nice, long, biking path very accessible.

If you like biking, there is an extended biking path a short distance away. Bikes can be rented at Marina Del Ray, and the path goes from there to Venice Beach. From there, you connect to a long bike path that goes both north and south.

Good Location and clean
I was visiting my family and just needed a place to sleep and clean up. This hotel was well located and very clean. Staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was fine. Other guests I met were very nice. 24 hour Walgreens on corner was very helpful. 1.4 miles to Venice Beach. I would recommend as a stayover location, not as a destination by itself.

Good location, clean, good value
quiet motor-lodge on the border of Marina del Rey and Venice. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants in Venice and good highway access to the rest of the LA area.

Nice staff but hotel itself needs serious reno.
From the drive into the parking lot I was very disappointed with the appearance of this hotel. It looks rather dingy. The hot tub is right in the middle of the parking lot...I would never even consider getting in it. The room itself was in serious need of a freshening up (ripped wall paper, stained walls, ugly furniture). The continental breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
