Old but not bad for the price
Went to Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier & shopped downtown Santa Monica, ate at nice restaurant. Lots of consturction outside our room, so hard to sleep in at all or to take a quick nap in the afternoon. We got what we paid for so it was fine.

Marina intl
Did not eat in the dinin room because I was in the other building & did not realize it wa attached. They do not serve dessert.

Very nice
Very nice and comfortable bungalow. Free parking and very quiet. I went with my husband for a quick getaway.

Great deal!
Amazing service, gorgeous location, affordable price! We stayed just one night, but I'm planning to go back there soon. Short walk from Venice beach and all the amenities, restaurants, and bars. Friendly staff that even welcomed us with fresh cookies when we checked in. Huge parking structure. Clean, pretty, and spacious rooms. The only minus is the elevator: there's just one and it takes forever to go upstairs or downstairs.

Good Marina location, friendly staff
Friendly staff, parking (basement) on site (which is of particular benefit in the Marina), large room. Not a big box hotel - has its own little quirky assets. Well maintained but could use new carpeting.

overnite stay
We were there just overnite for a medical appt. at UCLA. The location was closer than LA Intntl airport where we have previously stayed overnite. If we had arrived sooner, I'm sure we would have enjoyed taking a walk along the harbor and we noticed there were shops and restaurants within walking distance. The location of the hotel was great for us. The hotel itself is older and perhaps could use a little make over...esp. the bathrooms.

Great for the price!
Hotel is in a great location. Near the beach, not a far drive to tourist locations. Friendly staff, and clean rooms with balcony!

Great Location for the price
The location was great for the price. Located across the street from the marina and just a few blocks away from the beach. The front desk actually let us check in an hour early because our room was ready. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definately return to this hotel when I am back in the area

it was pretty good
Location was good. easy to get to Venice and Santa Monica. it was cold in the room and you had to call the desk to adjust temperature. it was tolerable after that. housekeeping was great, you can tell they were detail oriented. the place is old but for the most part, well maintained. some of the doors didn't fit right (bathroom door wouldn't close all of the way, light shone in from hallway.
