Money out the window
Weak accommodations for the price
Decor is dated. Rust in the bathroom. Thin walls and ceiling. We could hear the people upstairs walking around late into the night and early morning. I believe people actually live in this hotel. Shady characters in the lobby. Recommend to others? No way. Only positive - good customer service at the front desk.

Relaxing hotel, yet close to fun spots!
The staff was great. They were helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. The location was perfect for our trip, and sitting on their decks enjoying drinks, or their great meals, was a hi-lite of the stay.

Marina Del Rey Hotel
Loved the location, the room service, the peacefulness of the harbor and marina. Loved being able to walk around the marina down to the marina beach. Lots of good restaurants close by on the water. Very relaxing experience.

Paper Thin Walls
The hotel walls are paper thin. We could hear neighbors beside us talking clear as if they were in the same room. Neighbor above could be heard walking, opening balcony door and flushing toilet. The bed was good, but that is the only update that has been made. Also, air conditioner wasn't working. Left thermostat on 65 all day and returned to a hot room. Notified front desk and they send a plastic fan, not the solution we were looking for.

Good 2 Night stay
This was the last City to visit from 3 weeks trip. The Hotel has a very convenient location if you want to visit Venice, Santa Monica... Located direct at the Marina it is quiet and you can enjoy some nice hours at the pool. The hotel is obviously aged but it has some nice charme, the hotel restaurant is absolutly ok and had the best prices off all hotels I visited, the staff is extremly friendly, only the rooms Need some remodelling!! Overall for 2 nights before you leave town or As a starting Point I would recommend it.

great relaxing vacation
We stayed 5 nights, had great weather, many places to walk around. Safe area to be. Easy to get to from the airport, and easy to get to the beach. a great value!!

Go Go Go
Tired but nice.
The hotel needs a remodel for sure but the staff certainly made up for the tired look and the worn out rooms. I had a beautiful water view and the seals where out playing loudly in the water a 100 feet from my room. Room was very clean and the King size bed was very comfortable, spacious but tired at the same time. Three large picture were on one wall - no, one picture and the remains of two other picture shaowdowed by the clips and faded wall paper to identify the locations. It was OK experience but don't expect the location to be polished, it's not. Lots of potential with an upgrade. Lots to do around the hotel.

Enjoying the Waterfront
the location is excellent ad the staff well trained. the facility is old but clean and properly maintained. The food was a pleasant surprise; good chef in the kitchen.

The hotel is located right in the marina and offers fantastic views of the sailling vessels, fishing boats and sunset views. Venice and Santa Monica pier are about three miles away.
