Home Away From Home
I have been coming here for years and plan to do so for a long time. The staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was enjoyable. They really know the area which helps when you are looking for an interesting and new place to eat. The location can't be beat. It is only minutes from the marina and beach and is located next to Vons market, several fast food and nicer restaurants, DSW, the Gap, and nail salons. The hotel also has coin operated laundry for guests which is a nice perk. It is being remodeled right now and I am looking forward to seeing its new look the next time I stay there.

Von's Market has great bagels and cream cheese for less that $1.50 which is a great affordable breakfast. Buying fruit, snacks, or a quick meal from the deli counter can save you a lot of money,

In overall the is in a good condition for travelers, while there in my room was missing a small frigobar.

Not bad
The hotel is fine, room fine, staff great, location pretty bad. It's in a strip mall kind of area, currently blocked up by a big construction site. I had no problems with construction noise, but the location is just not great. Clean hotel, enjoyable enough stay, very reasonable price...I give three stars because the staff was exceptionally nice and accomodating.

Marina Del Ray Courtyard Mariott
Hotel was just ok. We needed to be close to airport and close to Santa Monica. Would not return to hotel unless it has undergone renovation/makeover.

Just What We Needed
This Marriott was a nice hotel. We were greeted with a warm welcome and everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. We got up late on our last day and didn't realize that we had slept so late, but we were ready for breakfast at 10:45 am. They had no problem in holding over breakfast for us. It was delicious. Will stay here the next time in Marina del Rey.

Tidy Travelers 1 & 2
Business trip made simple
The Courtyard is ideal. It's conveniently close to the 405 freeway, LAX Airport, Marina Del Rey Catalina area, and Venice Beach. They have a great pool and even a bike rental. There aren't too many eating options in the area but it was fun to explore neighboring areas for food. I did eat at Angler's Choice at the marina and would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful location!!!
The hotel was in a great location. The mall, other shopping centers, restaurants and most importantly the beach were all within walking distance. We hardly needed to use are rental car. The laundry facility came in handy though they could use more units. I will definitely be staying in this hotel again for future trips.

Not a happy camper
Old hotel next to noisy 4-6 lane streets. It is so bad, the hotel supplies ear plugs in all the rooms. The doors/windows are old technology, allowing lots of highway noise all night long.
