Misty blue
Okay not 3 star quality.
Was old and not as comfortable as a 3 star would be and had towels that were substandard and dingy. The bed was not comfortable for my friend and the TV wasn't very good to watch older and no movies.

good stay close to monterray and carmel
The hotel was nice and keep in mind this more of a motel where the doors are entered from the outside. However room was clean and the location was great. We walked to Marina Beach every morning since it was right outside the hotel.

Ok for a night
It was cold and the room heater didn't work correctly. We could also hear the sound of traffic from the hyw 1.

Nice Hotel
Nice experience, great staff. Within 100 yds of the beach and easy walking distance. Room was huge, bed was comfortable, old style TV. Would be nice to have a large flat panel TV in a room with a king size bed. With the large room I would have liked a Microwave and Refrigerator as well.

Don't waste your money
When we checked in at 9 pm and waited over 30 min because there was a line. I had a feeling it was a bad sign. This hotel was closer to a super cheap motel than a 3 star Hotel. Free breakfast was awful, room wasn't clean, you can hear the freeway traffic all night. There were a lot of people getting rooms for the night of with no reservation and they were only paying $10 more than we did booking online. This room should've been $49.99 a night a MOST! Only positive is we had to call the front desk at 11:30 pm when the people next to us were being too loud (and by too loud I mean standing outside on the balcony talking) and they caled them and told them to quite down. You can hear everything! We will never stay here again. You can book much nicer hotels for $50 or so more a night and it is well worth it. This place was a dump!

Costal breezes
Spotted hotel from Hwy. 1
As we drove into the area of Marina, CA on Hwy. 1, we just happened to see the hotel sign as we were about to pass it by. One recommendation would be that the sign be larger so as to draw the attention of the travelers driving by. The hotel itself is very nice looking and appealing from the outside. I liked the fact that the beach was just a short walking distance from the hotel.

Romantic Rick
Like going to mom's
We wanted to see Monterey, CA, and couldn't find a vacancy within reason. We found this one on a travel site., just north by 6 minutes and it was a very peaceful and convenient. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.
