LA hotel near the beach with pool, parking and free breakfast
Just a 15-minute walk from Manhattan Beach Pier, the Wave Hotel Manhattan Beach is well located for a business or leisure stay. The hotel offers guests the chance to experience a heated outdoor pool, Jacuzzi and sauna, and the onsite restaurant serves a complimentary continental breakfast on the terrace in good weather. There are also a variety of local restaurants dishing up cuisines such as Cuban and Szechuan fare within a few minutes' walk. Good location...
If you want to go to Manhattan Beach, this is a good option. It would be better if it had fridges in the rooms.

Great value, very clean, well located
Good service, and nice continental breakfast served- rooms are spacious and nicely arranged around a courtyard pool.

Nice hotel with clean, spacious rooms and a good value
The hotel is well-located, has some great restaurants just next door/across the street: one Cuban, the other Japanese. Because the rooms face an inner courtyard with pool and hot tub, the rooms are quiet. Parking at slightly below ground level beneath the hotel is great! I would stay here again, especially for the cost. Good breakfast and very friendly staff!

False advertisement from its website
The website for The Wave Hotel presents a huge and gorgeous view from the front with a breathtaking visual of the front of Hotel..I got there and it was NOT what their website said...at all !!! The front of this hotel is on a sidewalk and they expanded the actual picture of the front of it for their website to make it appear fancier....The guy at the desk the night I arrived was NASTY rude....I will NOT be staying there again....

Wave hotel review
we expected a 3 star accommodation. The pictures are not the same as the real exp. The rooms are large, and generally clean, but very basic. The breakfast , was stale, and i didn't really eat any bagel, or muffin, but did use the milk, for my own cereal. Beach is 5 min drive by car but we walked , 20- 25 min. Staff if good. Target is nearby , as well as a few other shops. We wanted to a more luxurious experience during our 1 week stay, this is a 2 star at the most. I would still recommend for the location, and basic cleanliness.

parking is very hard in LA, so if you can walk, it's best. Public parking can be expensive , and street parking can be tricky, Packed streets, and terrible drivers! Be aware of their aggressive driving, you'll be surprised!

Excellent Value
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. For the price it was excellent value. If you just want a nice place to spend the night this place is will fit the bill.

Very friendly staff and pleasant hotel but older style motel type rooms and on busy street.
Very accomodating but fairtance from my needs in LA yet very reasonalbly priced.

Good getaway
Convenient place to spend nights. Big, comfortable room, the same bed. TV could be flat. The only issue for me was to noisy fan in bathroom and somehow noisy AC. Breakfasts fresh, but not anyhow sophisticated - I would really enjoyed any cold cuts and/or pancakes. The huge PRO is parking under the roof - you needn't shut hood in convertible.
