Loved This Hotel

This hotel is a fabulous find! The staff is super friendly and they carry Philosophy products in the rooms. The pool area is small, but really well done. The Second Story bar was a great place to meet local friends for drinks. The hotel is located across from Manhattan Village which is great for shopping and dining as well. The only minor drawback is that is a drive to the beach. I will definitely be back to this hotel!

Great Service and Access to Beach

Super clean and courteous staff. Manhattan Beach is a 20 minute walk, but the bikes for rent make for a nice ride up the beach though they are expensive at $30 each. Was disappointed with the lack of breakfast options, only a buffet. Parking is valet only so they charge for that as well. Overall, a good experience.

Check out the bike trail along the beach and local restaurants on Manhattan Beach away from the hussle of LA. Great stores for shopping too.

had fun.

I tried to find a room. Late. Front desk, man said no room. Found a room online. Don't bother with the ten dollar parking. Drinks were great at the bar. Kitchen should run later than ten.

Perfect stay

Loved the courtyard and the restaurant. Hotel restaurants are usually just ok - this one was spectacular! The staff was the best and the food was delicious! If you love to walk the path to the beach is wonderful. I didn't have a car but I did not feel stranded.

Enjoyable!

The Belamar Hotel was great for the price. The staff were extremely pleasant. This hotel is not huge but small and quant. The cleanliness was impeccable. The location was great...not far from the airport and beach. There's also a shopping mall close by. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Belamar Hotel as a place to stay.

Tire Slashed

Be careful cause you can't park your own car, and if they park your car where the cameras don't reach, so conveniently, than you may end up with tires slashed or dents etc. Not worth the anxiety of filling out police report etc. and apparently I am not the only one, read trip adviser. How funny that only a bunch of good comments are posted first and they sound just like how the manager talks. Don't get the staff upset!
