Great hotel, beautiful area

Its a very nice hotel, all the staff were very nice and polite for the entire duration of our stay. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The TV in the room was old but given how beautiful the weather was during our stay, we didnt spend much time in the hotel room. Valet took our car everyday when we got back to the hotel. One of my favorite things about the hotel is the gorgeous walk down the wood chip path all the way into the center of Manhattan beach. The area seemed very safe, the room was very affordable and over a great place to stay.

Relax while doing business

I've been staying at the Belamar for many years, and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly, the ambiance is great, and its a short walk to either Manhattan Beach or Manhattan Shopping Village. If you want to explore further, there's Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach not far away, and less than a 30 minute taxi ride gets you to Santa Monica, where 3rd Street Promenade is just amazing. I would definitely recommend The Belamar Hotel.

Wonderful for business travel

All too often, I stay at the same stodgy, overpriced, bland hotels when I travel. This was such a nice surprise, however! LOVE the DingDongs (or whatever they're called) on check-in. The art deco design is awesome, with great accompanying music and art throughout the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the free wireless worked throughout the place like a charm. I also ate at their restaurant on the second floor and highly recommend it!

Great Boutique Hotel

The Belamar was a great hotel. The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable. Great sheets on the bed! And the soaps and lotions smelled wonderful! They also have infused water in the lobby during the day and Hoho cakes at night! They will loan you beach bikes for a leisurely ride down to the beach about 1 mile away. It exceeded my expectations.

great value

my girlfriend and I flew in for the weekend. The hotel is a pleasure to stay at. The front desk was very friendly and helpful and the pool was outstanding. It is not oceanfront, but a very short drive to bring out things to the beach was no problem. I like the room with lots of space and clean. I would return without question.

We loved it.

We loved the hotel. It was clean, close the airport and worked out perfectly for our next day flight after our wedding. I'd reccommend it to anyone needing a hotel near LAX for a flight.
