LA brief stay
We come in and out of LA several times a year because we have family living close to LAX. This year decided to go to Manhattan Beach which is no more than a 10 minute drive from LAX. Loved this hotel and it was convenient to everything. Has a restaurant if you do not want to go out. Walking distance to the beach and great shopping. So pleased to find such a terrifc hotel. We will surely book this hotel next trip.

Manhattan Beach Wknd
Our party of four really enjoyed The Belamar! Close to the freeway, LAX and the beach, it is a nice, clean and quiet hotel. Service was excellent, rooms were very clean, and the Second Story Restuarant/Bar was a really neat bonus. We'd definitely stay here again! RS

Great hotel
When we found ourselves in Manhattan Beach, we knew we would want to stay at the Belamar again. Both times we have stayed there we have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are attractive and clean. The comfortable beds make for a good night's sleep. We had a terrific breakfast at the restaurant. All in all, I can strongly recommend the Belamar. .

Acceptable
The bathroom counter and sink were dirty. The shade over the balcony door did not fit, so in the early morning as soon as it became light there was sunlight streaming onto my face in an otherwise darkened room, and no way to block the light. The room was very noisy as if we were under or near a motor or air conditioner or something. This was a constant vibration and sound and irritating. I had asked for a quiet room. The desk clerk tried to be helpful and print out my boarding pass, but at the airport I found he'd printed the wrong document. The breakast was either a $15.99 buffet or nothing. All I'd wanted was toast and coffee.

very nice
comfortable room, good amenities, very clean. nice restaurant/bar on the 2nd floor. staff was very friendly/helpful. while not right on the beach it was very convenient. this was a work trip for me and i would stay again. great value. valet parking was very reasonable - $10.

A great hotel at a great price!
The Belamar Hotel was wonder. A great hotel at a great price! I stayed at the hotel for four five days and four nights. The location of the hotel in relation to the airport (LAX), highways, stores, restaurants and Manhattan Beach is perfect. I would stay at the hotel again!
