Nice Room, but Parking Problem
The room was very nice, but there is a construction going on. When we returned to the hotel after midnight, we couldn't find a parking spot near our room, so we had to park on the opposite side of the property. They should either make each parking spot bigger so people can park between the lines or make sure there are no cars except for those of the hotel guests -- seemed like there were more cars than the rooms...? There are no elevators to the 2nd floor, so if you have huge luggage, good luck.

Great place to stay
We had a really great experience at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond. They were paving their parking area at the time of our stay and had mandatory valet parking for everyone. It was really well managed and not at all an inconvenience. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday they had not only breakfast but also dinner with complimentary wine and beer. The staff worked really hard to make everything perfect for their guests. We saw the same people there from 6 a.m. until well after 8 p.m. A hard working group. Never did we experience an unfriendly memeber of their staff. Everyone had a smile and a goodmorning from the kitchen staff to the management. Overall, we will certainly go back next time we are in the L.A. area.

Visiting old friends
Hotel was excellent. All amenities according to website. Gym very nice, clean, good machines. Bkfast was very good, buffet food kept warm and clean, room was old, but hotel in process of refurbishing so I was in the older section. Once it is done, this place will be fantastic to stay at. No complaints at all.

exceptionally happy pleasant destination
The reception staff was consistently courteous friendly and supportive,accommodation was kept clean, located on a private quiet spot within easy access to many shops,Manhattan village, Metro stops, restaurants, Polliwog park, places to worship, and is within walking distance to Manhattan Beach. We enjoyed our stay, would gladly visit again and recommend highly to others. On days we visited Hollywood, Long Beach, African American museum, The Fashion district, Broadway,China town, Santa Monica just to mention a few places of interest, Beach Volley ball was fun to watch on a very crowded sunny Manhattan Beach, and a joy to walk the full length of the pier.

A Pleasant Suprise
We were on our Honeymoon. This was a very clean hotel. No frills, but that's what we wanted, a clean quiet place to sleep at night. The best part was the staff. Simply the most helpful and polite staff I have seen at a hotel in years.

Good Hotel
Overall, a good hotel. The room was smaller than I expected, but accommodated 2 adults and 2 children just fine. The daily breakfast was outstanding!
