Simply wonderful!

Would recommend Tue, Oct 13, 2015
We were thrilled with our experience at The Village Lodge. Our two bedroom condo was spacious and comfortable! It suited our family of 5 perfectly. The location of The Village Lodge couldn't be better and the staff was over the top friendly. Before we left we were already planning our next trip back!

Just one night in Mammoth

Would recommend Thu, Oct 8, 2015
The staff at the desk was very nice. They suggested eating places in the Village area (which I imagine they are asked to do.) Most of these were bars with a grill. We ate at one even though it was not the type restaurant we wanted. We should have driven someplace else. Shops closed early and even the ice cream store closed at 7pm. Maybe during ski season they stay open later. The condo/room (1 bedroom with king) was very clean. The kitchen had everything a person could need, including a blender. There were 2 TVs, a humidifier, iron, a deck with chairs, nice dining table and chairs, hide a bed couch, 2 robes and a gas fireplace + more. The garage down in the basement area really is a great idea for a ski resort. The car stays out of the weather and a person is not cold or snowed-on while getting skis or gear. Our trip was the first part of October so no skiing this time. The bed was comfy. The work out room had free weights, and elliptical machines, bicycle, treadmill and other weight machines. It is a huge resort and very well done.

Family Trip Ruined

Would not recommend Tue, Sep 29, 2015
Had a good trip, however we left our ipad in the hotel room and the hotel staff was very unhelpful. We didn't stop anywhere on the way home and were positive it was left in the room and magically it's just gone. We will likely never stay there again as the staff is not trustworthy!

Fun Hiking Trip

Would recommend Wed, Aug 12, 2015
We stayed for 3 nights in June and loved the property. The convenience, the room size and cleanliness were both great. We had a problem with the Master window on the first night as it wouldn't close all the way. We informed the front desk the next morning and they had if fixed by the time we returned that day. Very friendly and helpful.

Favorite place to stay

Would recommend Sat, Aug 8, 2015
We have stayed here 3 years in a row. Love the close access to ski lifts and restaurants . Kids love the pool/ hot tub . Roomy condos with well equipped kitchenettes. Modern bathroom with Aveda supplies. My only gripe is that they should offer a discount to returning guests ...
