Hello, the room was fine the uncomfortable was that the people who's job was to clean didn't respect the "sign" on the door, on day we were sleeping, then getting ready and they open the door with NOT nocking more then five times, later we left
for over an hour so they can do their job ando they didn't, they waited until we got back and decided to not made de room I personally ask the person in the front desk ans told me that because we where there they weren't going to clean, she asked me if we needed anything and I said yes, towels promising that they would leave them in the room but they didn't.
The rest was juat ok.
First off the location is good, just near the Outlet Mall. The hotel is in dire need of a remodel but for the price I can't complain too much. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are totally out of service and it appears for some time now. The parking
lot is cluttered with materials much like a construction site. The rooms had everything including coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. The decor and state of everything is old and run down. It is what you'd expect from a 1-2 star hotel. I'm a guy and I was staying alone on a fishing trip and don't require much so I decided to try Roadway Inn. My wife likes nicer places so for sure I wouldn't bring her here. I'd like to live a little longer!
The hotel was dated but clean. The paint and elephant wall paper was a bit odd. My biggest complaint is that I discovered ( after the second day) that the smoke detector was placed in the drawer of the dresser with the battery out. I looked around
and there was no mounting bracket or even screws for mounting the detector on the cowling or wall. All in all it was stay able but the lack of consideration for life safety blows it in my book. The manager apologized over and over and produced a brand new detector as we left but did not offer to make it right....

Long walk from hotel
The restaurant called Lackanuki in "the village" was great
My one overnight stay was average. This place was typical of the cheapest options. Like others, there are always odd things wrong that indicate obvious carelessness of the staff. A VERY slow bathtub drain and broken coffee carafe were examples.
