The worst hotel in California?

We have been visiting the USA for about 15 years and over this time have stayed in many types of lodgings througout the country including budget chains. Our room was very small, dirty, torn carpet at the door and the furnishings all required cleaning. The queen bed sagged in the middle and should have been replaced years ago. The breakfast comprised minature sized muffins,do'nuts and the coffee was so weak as to be undrinkable. This is without doubt the worst hotel we've ever satyed in and we would have been more comfortable sleeping in the car

Nice location but minimum service

Rooms was good enough for the price, but outside of motel was well worn, halls and common areas poorly maintained. Showed a lot of wear and very limited maintenance. First room I was given had a door that they couldn't open, thus had to change me to a different room on the back side. Room was adequate, but maid service very spotty. Coffeemaker was dirty, 2 used cups had been left beside it, cracked plastic drinking glass, providing me a poor first impression. Rug had sand/dirt in it, probably minimal vacuuming it. Was unhappy with service, obvious that this hotel had been overused, and maid and maintenance just couldn't keep up with everything. Couldn't ever use Room Safe, even after asking them to fix it. Parking is a real problem in the Winter.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT, THEY TREATED US WITH RESPECT AND VERY HELPFUL STAFF, HOWEVER THEY SHOULD FIX THE ENTRANCE AND FRONT OF THE HOTEL. THEY SHOULD HAVE A BIGGER SIGN WITH THE HOTEL'S NAME AND AGAIN FIX THE ENTRANCE. OTHER HOTELS NEXT TO IT LOOK MUCH BETTER. WE WENT INSIDE BECAUSE OF OUR RESERVATION ALREADY PAID FOR, IF NOT I WOULD HAVE STAYED AT ANY OTHER PLACE BECAUSE OF HOW BAD IT LOOKS FRON THE STREET. THEY SHOULD ALSO HAVE BETTER BEDS.

Worst Motel ever

This place was horrible. The comforters look like they haven't been washed in ten years. There was dirt on the pillow cases. The room that they stuck us in was right next to the stairs and all hours of the night you heard people going up and down them. the walls were so thin that you could hear someone talking in a normal voice in the room nest to you. Ohh and on top of it all the room smelled like spoiled milk.

Ok for the money, but not a 2* hotel

It was clean and the bed was firm. Lights over the night stand did not work, coffee maker was broken. Left too early to judge the breakfast. Just what you would expect from a low priced hotel.

Blah!

This motel was smelly, dingy, dark and overall awful... All in all I don't have very high expectations for budget motels, however this one is not worth staying at. The check in lobby area smelled, the complimentary breakfast was stale, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, the pillows were flat and the comforter was putrid. If you going to stay at a budget motel, book at Motel 6...

Needs to work on cleanliness

The biggest issue, was MOLD GROWING on the bathroom ceiling and in the grout lines. It just makes you think how clean the room really is? We noticed a few things that made us not want to even be in the room. I am surprised that the health department hasn't closed this place already. Dose up on Vitamin C if your going to stay here. P.s. perfect for a college kids with low expectations... It's still Hella fun going boarding!
