OK hotel, Front desk staff could try harder.
This hotel is below the standard of other Best Western Plus hotels we've stayed in. First the positives - clean rooms, good location, above average breakfast buffet. Negatives - mainly the front desk staff. There were usually 3-4 staff at the front desk but even basic requests were too much trouble (such as calling a taxi when our in-room phone didn't work and storing our luggage on the day we left). If these things are important to you then book elsewhere. Also be aware that they don't offer an airport shuttle and the wifi is often unavailable.

More than I expected!
I didn't know what to expect when I booked this hotel. But I have to say I was impressed with my room and service. It's the perfect place to stay if you are going to spend most of your time out skiing and enjoying wonderful mammoth :)

Burgers is a great place for dinner. You must make reservations to avoid a very long wait or order take out. reasonable and great food.

Great for no hassle
The room was huge and clean. If you are staying longer than a couple of days, the kitchenette would come in handy. The staff was really efficient and friendly. The free breakfast was pretty good too!

Watch out if you plan to stay here more than 1 night!
I am not happy with this hotel at all. If you plan to stay here for more than 1 night, watch out what you are committing for. We reserved it for 3 nights. My daughter was sick and we had to check out one day earlier on Sunday around 12 pm. When we checked out, they mentioned that their computer broke down and didn’t print out the receipt. As their manager wouldn’t be available, they would get back to me for the refund on Monday. When I called next day, they needed to talk to their supervisor on Wednesday. I got a call today that they won’t give us the refund. They mentioned that I had a late checkout and I committed for 3 nights. They don’t care whether one of their guests is sick. I contacted Best Western Customer Care before I checked out on Sunday. The representative suggested I needed to check out. When I spoke with them today and they can’t do anything except giving me some hotel points. It was my first experience with Best Western. I wouldn’t stay with Best Western from now on. When you check in, they will ask you to sign up for “early check-out not permitted for any reason”. I suggest you do not sign up for more than 1 night here. By the way, the 1 night was $193.22 including taxes.
