LA was Awesome!!
Everything was terrific! the flight was on-time, smooth and even arrived early to our destinations. The hotel was beautiful and very relaxing. Thank you Orbitz for the price package - it was worth every penny.

Mini vacation
There had been a power outage in the area earlier in the evening that contributed to long lines at the front desk. Staff did their best and was very friendly.

The westin nickel and dime strategy
Be careful the wesitn might just charge for standing in the lobby. Why not, they charge you for everthinvg else. I almost payed more in fees than I did for the hotel room. Here are just a few of the fees: $22 to self park, about $30 for valet, $ 12 for the Internet . Now to be fair all of the hotels along that strip proably charge you for parking and Internet, but the hotel staff seem to be so callus and indifferent that it made you angry to pay the fees. And not to mention the drinks at the bar are way too expensive. So if you can get past all the fees then the hotel is pretty nice, clean, and beautiful.

If you rent a car. Get it from thrifty as the rent a car facility is right next door to the westin and it give you more options to get to and from LAX

Having traveled extensively, the name Westin is synonymous to quality customer service. Indeed, I saw evidence of that during my 5 day stay in this hotel. From the moment I arrived until I checked out, the entire staff has been attentive and courteous. However, I was greatly disappointed by the service fees of your business office. I called the receptionist to inquire if I could use the hotel internet and she directed me to the business office. I only needed 15 minutes and I had to pay an unreasonable amount for those 15 minutes. Unbeknownst, a free internet station was already available in the lobby area. Why didn't she bother to give me that option? That is what needs improvement. Informing guests of the various options would help them make a better decision.

Relaxation
This is my new place to get away I enjoy the privacy and the fact that I could go in and out freely without paying over and over for parking .. It's a good loation not far from the airport with a great view all around

Excellent practical stay

Good place to stay near the airport.
They do not offer free Wi fi. We did not notice how the bed spread looked unclean until the last nite.
