The Westin Los Angeles Airport

Only stayed one night, but service was good, price was decent and facilities were well maintained. Room had a slightly funky odor to it, but I imagine it wasn't typical of the rest. Overall impression was that there was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel - would certainly stay there again but it also didn't strike me as one of the better places I've been to.

Tried to check into the hotel. Your company did not provide a reference number, on the itinerary, that the hotel needed to look up the reservation in their system. As it turned out Your company had not faxed the reservation request to the Hotel. I had to wait for the hotel to call your company and request that they fax it over. At that point I was told I did not have a reservation. Not an enjoyable experience. It was also embarrassing! Elise Frame-Fisher

Our experience was pretty limited. We really just needed a place to sleep. The room was fine and the rest of the hotel seemed good. But it was very late and we didn't have a car so we had to order room service. I had to call 4 times and it took 3 hours to finally get our food! I couldn't believe it. Every time I called they just said the kitchen is busy it will be just a few minutes. Turns out they didn't even bother to check because by the time I called the 3rd time they said they didn't even have our order. Then they had the audacity to tell me they couldn't give us our original order because it was now the late night menu. That was hardly our fault considering at that point we placed the order 2 hours ago and had already called 3 times to check on it. The food finally arrived at 1am (another hour later!) and we had a 6am flight. So we were staying up late starving then got limited sleep. They offered us a 20% discount which is a complete joke. It should have been free. There are plenty of other options in the area so I would recommend staying elsewhere. This is not how you take care of travel weary guests.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and it was a great stay. The room was clean and service was nice. Location was easy to get to all highways.

Westin is convenient to LAX. Stayed to catch an early flight. Convenient shuttle service. Good exercise room. Decent pool. room was comfortable. Food at the bar was wonderful. Bridgett and Megan in the bar were terrific and fun to talk to.

Stayed here a few times - great location right by the airport but not too loud. Rooms are aging and need to be remodeled, but the price is right. Shower water pressure and water temp are not good. Valet is $35/night.

Not a very good stay at what is a fairly reliable chain. Check-in was fine, but got a room that had been smoked in. Went back down and was assigned another. Room was clean but granite desk was stained. Room service menu was missing, so that led to difficulty ordering. Westin can do better!

We wanted to stay near LAX for various reasons, and this was perfect. Nice spacious room with grand windows, close to various car rental places (eg. Fox, Thrifty etc), clean and comfortable. Staff could be friendlier, but that's a minor quibble.

Great location, price and ammenities. Only issue I had was that I booked a double queen but since we checked in early was given a king with a pull out couch. Good thing the kids didn't mind the very thin pull out mattress since there would have been some major back adjustments needed for any adult who slept on that! Very handy to LAX and overall was what you would expect from a Westin.
