the most comfortable beds in the world! pillows like sleeping on a cloud! very contemporary design! great service! close to the airport and rental cars.

Short walk from hotel
thrifty rental and fox rental is just a block away, if you get their shuttle from the airport its free to the hotel then pick up your car the next day so you dont have to pay parking at hotel, and return it the night before flight leaves and again save parking ($35.)

Dissatisfying. The mattress wouldn't stay on the bed. I should have went to Wal-mart and bought pillows. The hair dryer was about 20 years old. The advertising shows you get a robe and there werent any in the room. HEAVENLY my foot!!! uncomfortable was more like it. I would have had a better shower with a hose.

Not up to Westin Standards....
I don't believe this hotel is currently up to the standards of Westin. The first room I received was musty and smelled as if it had been smoked in. In addition, the chaise lounge chair was shabby and well worn - mis-shapen and had seen I called the front desk and was informed all rooms are non-smoking. I requested a move to another room, which was accomodated. The staff was friendly and responsive.

Quick trip to LA
This was as in-out overnight trip to LA with early morning departure so an airport hotel made sense. I've stayed at several in the LAX vicinity, and the Westin is as nice as any I've stayed at. Very comfortable beds and, good coffee in the room, dependable shuttle service. No time to enjoy any of the hotel's other features. The rate was a good deal on an airfare/hotel combo booking.

Not clean
The hotel staff was kind enough to checkin early in the morning. The room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There was a layer of dust visible on the furniture. The room was not cleaned, and no new towels were provided for the second day.

Wonderful trip & very understanding
The hotel staff was amazing. The room was clean, spacious & the room supplies were outstanding. I had a small incident with things being charged to my room, but after a quick call to the front desk it was resolved with out issue. Would stay again!

Great hotel, great service!
I was only there for one night but truly enjoyed my stay. The room was large and clean. I was concerned staying close to the airport that it would be noisy but I didn't hear one plane. The staff was very helpful with suggestions for places to go as well.

Fantastic stay!
I had a comfortable sleep every night at the Westin. The Westin's heavenly beds truly live up to their names. I have back trouble and often have to travel with a foam egg crate mattress to make the hard mattresses on hotel beds comfortable. I will choose a Westin hotel over others now after my stay in the LAX Westin. I highly recommend it!

Comfortable place to stay near airport
3 people waited (standing) at poolside waiting for additional chairs that never arrived. We followed up with a call to the front desk about 20 minutes later, at which time we were told "someone has to check the storage area". The chairs never came. One person had knee problems and remained standing, waiting for the chairs that never arrived. No one came to poolside or called our room to update us.
