Wow, such a hidden gem. Incredible value.

I was blown away by this little hotel. The rooms were as nice as some of the city's better luxury hotels (far superior to most other boutique hotels in LA). Great beds and pillows and Frette linens, robes and slippers. The gym is awesome. The lounge is gorgeous. Funny, when I first saw the ground-floor entrance and front desk, I got scared, thought it was going to be a dump. But once upstairs, an entirely different world opens up. This has to be one of the best values for the money in Los Angeles. I will definitely be staying here again. I travel to LA every other week, and this is going to become my new base in the city. Love it.

one day stay

Nice room and furnishings but the bathroom needs updating. It's has an old pedestal sink with no place to put toiletries or cosmetics when you are getting ready. The breakfast was really good and the building has interesting interiors. The gym is big but very dated. Feels like pre - 80s. No Valet parking and not convenient from going up and down the stairs from the parking garage with bags just to get to the reception counter. I may or may not stay here again. Free internet.

Nice room just to sleep

The hotel facility was great. It had a lot of activities so you would never be bored. We loved it. The room was very small, and very little space in the bathroom as well.

would not stay here unless a very short trip

pictures of the room look larger than it really was. There was not enough lighting other than the sunlight from the window. Fridge was not cold enough and had an odor. The shower knob was broken- when you turn it, its either scorching hot 95% of the turn, and 5% normal. The free breakfast was great. Restaurant and bar seemed beat up and old. Parking was only 12 a day which was very cheap around the dt area. At night, outside is a bit ghetto with a lot of homeless.

Great four night stay

I was in LA for a conference and stayed here for four nights. The room was very comfortable. It was great having a daily breakfast buffet included in the room price. The restaurant/bar Duke's in the hotel was great for a good lunch at a reasonable price. There is a rooftop patio which is nice to smoke or have a drink on and has a great view of downtown LA. The staff was very friendly and the location is great. You can easily walk to many of the downtown attractions. I would definitely stay here again.
