In LA for business and vacation
Stayed for one night. Walls are thin, I can hear my neighbor's conversation. Lots of people going in and out throughout the early morning. Good place to stay for one night before my flight. Otherwise find a place away from the airport. If you drive a car, then the value isn't as good since they charge $28/day for parking.

The best thing is the location
The TV remote didn't work, but was replaced on request. The toilet was too close to the tub. Self-parking was confusing - it wasn't clear which lot was affiliated with the Sheraton - so we ended up paying more for valet. The tub was very slow to drain so I ended up standing in a pool of water while showering. At that point (late evening), I really didn't feel like calling the front desk again for service.

Best LAX Hotel
I've stayed at several hotels near LAX, and this one is by-far the best. It's also a great launching point if you're visiting some Westside locations, only 10 mins from Santa Monica and Venice. The lobby and ground floor has a very stylish design. Great bar there as well. Outdoor pool and hot-tub are nice. Rooms and beds are what you'd expect to find in any Sheraton. My only warning would be to light-sleepers. Because this is an airport hotel, people are checking in and out of this hotel at all hours. So, you're likely to hear doors closing and cleaning staff in the middle of the night.

Fantastic...but
This place was fantastic! The bar and restaurant were great and there is a Starbucks in the lobby. The room I stayed in (715) was spotless and VERY comfortable. The but: Charged $28/night for parking AND $12.99/day for internet access in your room.

Almost perfect for overnight stay
beds are very comfortable in spacious rooms. Very useful to have a place in lobby where you can print boarding passes. Improvements needed--free wifi, base of toilet needed cleaning.

Great place to get away to!!
We really enjoyed our tome at Sheraton Gateway. The room was comfortable and clean, the furnishings were modern and new, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and courteous.
