Video Game Junkie
Simple and modern
I was there for e3. The exterior of the hotel felt like I was going to sleep in some dirty apartment. However, once I walked inside my room, it was very clean. Noise was not a problem, and my TV was HD ready...so I could play my PS3 or watch HD shows. It was also walking distance to the nearest Metro Rail line. Compared to my past trips, this is more "simple, yet not formal." I was there mostly to sleep and play video games. Outside, restaurants and shopping centers were easily reachable (better than driving).

Short walk from hotel
If you're there for a week, get a Metro TAP pass to ride the Metro Bus/Rail. It's better than having to pay at every stop and get another ticket.

Best Beds but Desk Clerk NOT Brightest
In town for the E3 convention , a concert & sight seeing. Had tickets for Craig Fergusen but was not allowed to check in early so missed the taping since I had no where to leave my bag.The desk clerk didn't even ask if I had a reservation but bleeted out "no rooms, sold out last ni" When I came back after 2:00 and told the desk clerk I had a reservation she said "OH, you could have check in early!" I also could not find an ice machine and figured the desk clerk would not be helpful with my request. 3 Miles to convention center via train. Liked the bed & pillows but sparce room with no fridge, might search for something closer to transportation & LAX.

The amenities in the room were
The amenities in the room were very minimal. I got a hair dryer from the front desk though. There was no wardrobe in the room or tea/coffee facilities or even a mini-bar fridge. Though they did have pastries and things in the mornings with coffee at the Lobby but jetlag made it difficult for me to wake up in time to take advantage of this. The pool and restaurant is still under construction. I could hear the people stomping around early in the morning and late at night upstairs. The room was big and cleaned well every day and the staff are very nice and helpful. Definitely great room for the rate and it's easy to walk to the Metro and to get buses.

Perfect Location for Touring the City
The hotel itself is in the middle of ktown next to a quiet neighborhood, but not too far from bars/restaurants (within walking distance) if you want to go out and explore too. The hotel is kind of small, but the rooms are very spacious. Friendly staff too! But the best part of it is the location (in between downtown la, hollywood, the beach, etc) Pretty good for couples or friends who just want to explore the city

Fair value
Location was ideal for our needs. Hotel was good value but the renovation needs some "tweaking". Little things that make for a more comfortable stay like a hook on the bathroom door for clothes or towels and a light by the desk separate from the main turn on lights. Our window looked into the "pool" which was pretty disgusting with stagnant water. However on the plus side, the bed was large and comfortable with excellent sheets and many pillows. Parking was not a problem and free as was the internet. We would stay again for its value and proximity to our needs.

Great hotel in Koreatown.. been to LA a few times now, we decided to stay a little out of West Hollywood as we hired a car... rooms are quite large.. but again only really convenient if you have a car, otherwise no good. :)

The hotel is clean and tidy. The room is very spacious. Staff are friendly. There is a 24 hours reception counter. The staff is very helpful in acceding to my request, such as printing out a disneyaland online ticket and guiding me to the eatery places nearby the hotel. Great service! I would recommend this hotel. It is about 10 min walking to the metro station, Wilshire/nomaide.

Great Potential
You definitely get what you pay for. At the point of my visit the rooms were "completed", but the pool was still being finished so no laying out for us. The bed was super comfy and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant. It's a little rough around the edges, but the rooms were nice and big, which I felt made up for the unfinished exterior. I would say that if you plan on putting multiple people in the room, don't just expect them to have roll-away beds. There are only 4 rooms with two beds; the rest have one King (maybe Cal King). My point is bring air-mattresses! And also, some rooms have closets, but my room just had a rod with hangers in a corner. I mention these annoying details because I don't like surprises, but I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay
The hotel ticked all the essentials - clean, quiet, comfy bed. An extra was a convenient location. Parking was fine, occasionally there was some double parking in the garage, but the staff managed it so it wasn't a problem. The desk staff were very polite and helpful, and when I needed to print my itinerary, it wasn't a problem to use their printer - thanks! We decided to use the metro to get downtown - the rapid is just 2 blocks away, and if you want to sue it, the subway is close by to get to Universal or Holloywood. A couple things to improve the room would e mor hanging space, or even hooks, in the bathroom - there is only one small double hook, not enough to hang towels, and a mirror in the bedroom. I would defintiely reccomen this hotel.
