Great Stay
Staying here was great. In was in a pretty decent location and the staff was nice. They were going thru a remodel at the time but it was clean and not loud at all. Would definitely stay again.

Downtown
My go to spot!
Love staying here. Its super quiet. FREE parking and the staff and really helpful. I've stayed here 10+ times on business and always feel comfortable. Not to mention the decor is very modern.

minimalist with modern fixtures
third night is free, hardwood floors, generally clean with a soft design touch...not bad for the deal. great location.

Needs attention to detail
Though the location was great for my purpose, and I really liked having parking available, there were missing amenities, like directions to use the tv/cable remote; in-room coffee maker; pencil and paper; full length mirror; extra roll of toilet paper. I thought it was odd, too, that there were no pictures or photos anywhere on the room's walls--only a flat screen t.v. Biggest negative was the fact that this hotel allows dogs--my neighbor's dogs barked nonstop at all hours when they were in; it sounded like they were in MY ROOM. I requested a move, however, and they did find me a room down the hall. Finally, they said coffee and pastries were provided in the lobby for breakfast, but mostly it was only coffee, albeit excellent quality.

Short walk from hotel
This hotel is just a couple blocks from the Wilshire/Western subway stop--any ride in one direction on the LA metro is only $1.50! We went to Universal Studios, Pershing Park, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall on the metro--cheap and painless (no search for parking)!!

it was great
it was quiet and a very a nice location i would go back again except there was no outside where you can go relax and maybe swiming .enjoying the sunset like florida

Nice place in a great location
Hotel was in a great location not far from Hollywood. You can get just about anywhere in town within 10 to 15 minutes. The free parking garage was a bonus as well! The rooms were nice, but bare. The staff was friendly and accomodating, if the room is missing something, just ask!

Shelter hotel
no amenities but low price make it worthwhile. Recommend for single traveler who just need place to sleep. Not recommend for family travel

Nice, but somewhat spartan
This is a nice, apartment like hotel in a residential neighborhood (Koreatown) near Wilshire Blvd. It's close to Hollywood. The room was large, modern, and contemporary, but with minimal furnishings: just a desk chair, night table, desk, and a bed. No bureau or chest of drawers, no sofa, no mirror (except above sink in bathroom). No bar of soap furnished (although they did provide other toiletries). Free garage parking is a big plus, as is free internet (DSL) in the room. Breakfast consisted of coffee and one muffin. However, the common areas were unattractive (dirty, cheap, old carpet, etc), and the garage floor badly needed to be washed (hosed) down.
