Location is fantastic
We stayed one night to attend a play at UCLA and experience fine dining, which doesn't seem available south of LA. Outside of hotel wasn't impressive, but parking was free, as was WiFi. Complementary breakfast was adequate but not spectacular. Room was very nice, quiet, and very clean. Bed was comfortable. There are several excellent restaurants within two blocks of the hotel. We had dinner at the Napa Valley Grill, which was excellent with a very nice ambience. For the money, it was excellent.

Short walk from hotel
Very short walk—1/2 block to Napa Valley Grill. Palomino was nearby, as were several other good restaurants. Diver Scallops and mahi mahi were excellent at Napa Valley Grill. Service was attentive but not disruptive, which is hard to find in the US.

worked for what i needed
i just needed a cheaper place to stay close to UCLA for a day trip. this place was clean and convenient. it was a little loud at night, as I had a room off the main hallway. there was a nice breakfast in the morning and the staff was helpful.

Convenient accommodations
My husband and I have stayed at this small hotel in Westwood near UCLA several times, and we always find that it fits our needs perfectly. It's a short convenient walk to UCLA as well as the shops, restaurants, theaters, and Hammer Museum in Westwood. I would like to see their continental breakfast expanded a bit, but the other basic amenities - comfort, convenience, cleanliness, and location - at the hotel make up for it.

Use the hotel parking area for your car and then just walk to your nearby destinations on the UCLA campus and the village of Westwood.

Best stay ever!!!
I made reservation for a queen room, but when I get there, they changed my room to sweet room with no extra charge. I stayed Royal Palas by myself, but they gave me a huge, large, and wonderful sweet room! How sweet they are. I like Royal Palas. I recommand to have toothbrush in bathroom, if they would like to improve customer service. Royal Palas is soo close to the UCLA, so it was really convenient.

Good location for traveling purpose
It was close to the ballgame at UCLA. Staff did not give good directions to ballpark.

Look elsewhere - quick!
I asked for and booked a single queen, which I was to be guaranteed. Lucky for me the room had two twin beds, shorter than standard beds, as the sheets of one was filthy. Obviously they tried to get by with not changing them. The carpet wa sticky, the bathroom a pit. Parking was horrendous. PLEASE help youtself and look alsewhere, regardless of price. [...]

Clean, Comfortable, Close to UCLA Campus
We were there for a UCLA event so the hotel was very convenient. We were able to walk back and forth to campus. The rooms were clean and adequate. The breakfast was a standard complimentary breakfast.
