Good location for airport
Perfectly good hotel for airport.........cannot abide being made to pay for internet connection in this day and age, especially as this is not a budget hotel. Makes it fell like an equivalent of Ryanair...that's not a good thing!

decent hotel.
The hotel was nice, pleasant and worth the money. One surprising disappointment: I went to take a bath Saturday night & found that the water was lukewarm.

Roll-Away Torture Rack
Renaissance Montura Hotel Los Angeles Airport is certainly lovely to look at, clean, and well staffed, but it fell short on two elements that were critical to our satisfaction. We stayed there because we were picking up my adult daughter at midnight and did not want to drive home. We were also disappointed in the limited dining options.

Luxury?
An overnight stay for a trip from LAX. Location was good with regular shuttles from the airport. Hotel was more on the class of a regular Marriott not the top of the line hotel. Bed was very good with LCD widescreen TV. Dissapointment was that you get charged for using the internet. No dining options within walking distance other than Burger King. Overall average.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
Not much in the way of dining options. Burger King across the street and a Marriott down the street. Hotel dining on the pricey side.

Nice hotel, not so nice location
I loved the hotel, the rooms were gorgeous! It was just the surrounding area that I did not like (I guess thats what you get when you choose to stay near the airport). The first night we had problems with some noise, but the staff were very helpful and changed our room without hesitation, the staff was very courteous and resourceful. The gym was awsome, nice state of the art equipment. There was one pet peeve I just remembered, and that was the indoor garage door was malfunctioning during our whole stay, one night we had to wait at least 3-5min just to get out, that was ridiculous, but the staff was very apologetic and seemed to try and help the best way they could. Other than that the stay was fine. I just wish they could of taken that same hotel with a working garage door and placed it in a better area, then it would have been perfect!

Make sure you get a car....
Very nice hotel inside. Everything is marble, granite and luxurious. Staff is extremely friendly, they let us check in very early. Neighborhood around it is not the nicest place, but if you drive for about 10-15 minutes there are nice restaurants/shopping(Totally worth the drive). Do not expect to be able to walk to any good food unless you like plastic headed kings. The food in the hotel is very good, but ridiculously expensive compared to what you can get at the local restaurants. One final word.... Beware of the evil coffee maker of doom that is provided in your room, it may look harmless but I can assure you it has nefarious intent. I expected it to be okay since they give you surprisingly high quality coffees in the room. Everything is fine and dandy until you go to pour your coffee, the carafe' runs coffee all over everything within a 3 foot perimeter of your coffee cup, including your sleeves. Fortunately I did not get charged for the coffee stained towels and hopefully the maids knew that it was coffee.

Good enough
the stay was good. the rooms were clean, the hotel was in good condition, but the pool was closed. it was unfortunate because i really was looking forward to use the pool. the only complain was that the breakfast in the morning was quite expensive, but it was good.
