Quick Overnighter in LA
Overall - hotel was wonderful. The staff deserves special recognition, however, for going above and beyond the call of duty for me. Being in LA to give a lecture, I found myself "in trouble" as I was faced with a computer problem and needed to test my laptop with a projector. The AV Manager allowed me to test my laptop on their projector free of charge (normally a rental fee applies)! Additionally, everyone I spoke with was extremely courteous and went the extra mile for me. I would stay there again - proximity to LAX (especially for early a.m. flights) is key. And yet, you don't hear the planes taking off and landing.

If you have to rent a car while in LA, rent from Budget as the lot for pickup and drop-offs is literally across the street from the hotel.

Great Value
Stayed 2 nights as part of a tour of California vacation. The hotel was very clean, upscale, and an overall great value for the price of the stay. Although we were close to LAX the rooms were very quiet. The treat was being able to watch the planes land at LAX from our room! Would definitely stay here again if I'm in L.A. again.

The Tang
Mini trip away from the real world
Most of the staff is friendly. I have experienced some attitude from staff at the bar. I only wanted to see what products they carry (Coke or Pepsi) but they talked to me like I wasn't going to buy anything. That also changed my mind and my friends from staying in at the hotel and try to find another place to go have drinks. The check-in and concierge service was fantastic. They recommended a wide variety of places to check out. Gift shop staff is very helpful when asking about the area. The restaurant inside the hotel treats you like you are a celebrity and makes absolutely certain that you are satisfied with your visit. Overall great job. WARNING: There is a $25 dollar overnight parking fee PLUS Parking Tax (Never heard of Parking Tax but it's there).

3 day trip to L.A.
The hotel was a great..friendly staff and the rooms were very clean with nice beds..would definitely stay here again if not for the parking fee of 25 bucks a day..
