$11 for parking 2 blocks away!!
Ajit Nov 16, 2009
Their general parking is under construction. So I had to park 2 blocks way in some open area. They charged me $11 for 1 ... night!! Valet parking is $20. I would better have gone for it. Heater in room didn't work :( So it was a freezing night. Staff is really good. Location is unbeatable. Clean, big and beautiful room.
Traveler type: Couples
Park in valet parking till they fix general parking. Its 9 dollars more ($20 compared to $11 for general parking), but it's worth it.

The restaurant is higher priced (approximately $30 per plate at the low end), however the food and service were worth it. Try the Rigatoni with chicken in a white wine sauce, very tasty.

Wanting value for my buck Nov 3, 2009
Very clean and very quiet. I know there were others staying on our floor, however no noise from outside the room came to ... us. Sleep number beds were not working so we were unable to adjust for more comfort. Staff was friendly, but at a upper priced hotel they did not jump to assist with our baggage.

good stay however updating right now
Kate Nov 3, 2009
It was a great stopover for the night. I realize the hotel is upgrading so it is hard to make a very informed review. The ... bathtub was needing repair. The coffee pot didn't work. and it was the most expensive hamburger that I have eaten, and yet very dry. The hotel staff were great! I believe that if I had explored the hotel more, I could give more comments, but I just came in to rest after a long trip, so I stayed in my room till my flight left the next morning. The hotel shuttle service was also very good.

Good Deal
Diesel Dee Nov 1, 2009
Overall, the hotel is a good deal; clean, decent sized room, fitness center and ideal location. Also, it is priced less than ... many other hotels within the same area. My only complint is about the parking situation. Prior to relocating to LA, I was flying back and forth to locate an apartment and interview for jobs. During this time, I have stayed at this hotel for all of the forementioned reasons. However, when I checked in this time, I was informed that they no longer had a self parking lot on site, but instead a block or so behind the hotel and that I would be charged $11 to park, but did not have in and out priveldges; basically I had to pay $11 each time I left the hotel. When I come to LA, I am in and out all day and night and found this to be extremely inconvenient. They also have a valet option that is $20/day with the in and out priveldge, but then additionally, I am obligated to tip the driver for for each time they retrieve my car and again when they park my car; another inconvenience. Overall, good deal for the price of the room, cleanliness and location, but not the parking!!

Hotel was Not what we expected AT ALL! Reading the reviews/details we looked foward to a wonderful hotel, but we're ... disappointed. First the information regarding the dinning area/bar was incorrect it was being remodeled into conference space! The hot pool/hot tub was closed off like it hasnt been used in years. Take the jolly red bus to Manhattan Beach. It stops right outside the hotel, and is great little excursion if you have time to kill. Only $3 return, and you can get on and off as often as you like. Also goes to El Segundo shopping plaza and Mall.
