Radisson Hotel at Los Angeles Airport

Convenient to airport, friendly staff, clean room with comfortable bed

Perfect location for in and our trips but not to explore LA. Overall nice experience and great staff.

I had a great experience at the Radisson LAX. I was picked up promptly by the airport shuttle when I landed at LAX (you have to call them so they know to send the shuttle), and the shuttle also left on time (on the half hour) to bring me back to the airport at the end of my stay. The room was clean and the housekeeping staff did a great job of tidying up after me every day. Although pretty small (which is on par for most hotel fitness centers), the fitness center was nice and had new equipment. I wouldn't say there were luxury-grade amenities, but for the price the hotel was more than decent. (One thing that would be nice would be to have a continental, or some sort of, breakfast included with the room pricing). I was attending a week-long course within walking distance, so for me the location was perfect. Also, the staff was super friendly and helpful without exception. Thumbs up!

Was out in LA for a wedding and had a great weekend long stay at the Radisson. The staff was very helpful, making great recommendations for local bars and restaurants as well as which highways to take during the day to avoid the traffic. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice. A great spot for a great value

We were pleasantly surprised during our stay at the Radisson! We were able to literally walk one block from baggage claim and arrive at the hotel. Didn't even have to wait for the shuttle. Our room was large, comfortable and had nice upgrades- nice sheets, great bed, little touches of luxury - and though hou can see them landing, you never hear the planes. The pool was just ok. It's large and we saw many families using it but it didn't feel that inviting when we walked the 1/2 a block to get there. The jacuzzi has been turned in to a planter which was disappointing. The hotel has great access to beaches and to the freeway. We could make it to USC in 18 minutes and to Manhattan Beach in 15. My only complaint is that the windows were dirty. I don't know if they just weren't maintained or if the planes flying overhead made them get dirty faster than average but that was the only real down side. The hotel doesn't have self parking and their valet is $25 a night (pretty standard in LA) but there is in and out self park a block away $14 and we actually found some free street parking as well.

Good, very helpful staff, room had all necessary amenities and a great shuttle bus at 2am from the airport.

The Radissson at LAX is suitable for those quick, in and out, trips to LA. The hotel is reasonably clean, the staff reasonably obliging. It's right next to the airport, which makes one less waypoint for a traveler to keep track of. I'd not-so-enthusiastically recommend this hotel.

My stay was excellent. The help was outstanding--especially Tony and Mayra at the bar. The one exception was the restaurant. Some of the wait staff need a little training; things like customer interaction and silverware etiquette. The food was fine, though. I was surprised to find that I could watch planes take off, but could not hear them. The rooms were quiet. I will certainly stay again. It was a great value. P.S. Don't miss the calamari at the bar. Wow!!!

There were ROACHES in my hotel room. My hotel room, hallways and lobby were dark and the carpets needed cleaning. The resturant food was good, but after seeing the roaches I would not eat their again. The cleaning service only made the beds and replaced the towels. No vacuming or true cleaning, not even the bathroom. This hotel should be removed from your listing so others will not assume this is a good deal just because the cost was reasonable.

Clean, comfortable, convenient. I was pleasantly surprised. Even breakfast in the nice restaurant was reasonably priced. My only gripe was with parking, which was $25/night and getting your car from valet took a good 15 minutes. Not a problem for most airport commuters though.
