Convenient individual gateway
Good hotel that needs to update the comfort in the rooms. Air conditioning/heat makes an awful noise somewhat disturbing when you need a peaceful sleep. Valet parking is expensive ($19.00 vs. $5.00 in a public parking right behind). Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Accidental Tourist
Stranded by train scheduling in L.A. for one night and needed lodging close to Union Station. Miyako was perfect! Easy walk to and from train station. Great location in Little Tokyo...lovely restaurants and shops in a super-safe lacale. Room was a little small but had everything we needed. Comfy king bed, new flat-screen and DVD, sitting table with 2 chairs, and one of those "special" Japanese toilets. Found the Miyako by accident but will definately stay there again, the next time I'm sightseeing in L.A.

Great Value
The Miyako Hotel Los Angeles was quite comfortable, the room was pretty spacious with free internet. Location wise the hotel is suitable for people seeking business in downtown LA. The best part I liked, the bidet toilets, reminded of my stay in Japan, quite comfortable :).

It's ok....
It is really old fashion. But you can live very comfortably there. Anyway, location is good for me and with the price I paid, I think it's reasonable.

Good location
The hotel in a good location, not far from convention center. Good Japanese food around. We found $8.00 parking very close to the hotel.( Hotel charges $20.00) But the air conditioning in our room was old, the wall was broken, so it's very noisy. The bathroom sink was broken, but the Japanese toilet was great.

Not a bad hotel.
It wasn't a bad room, but for what I was paying, I expected more. Not much difference between the regular room and the deluxe room. Basically they scammed an extra $20 for the title "deluxe". Parking is expensive. Other than that. It's a good location to get around the downtown LA sites and there's plenty of entertaining things to do in Little Tokyo and the surrounding area.
