Historic Biltmore in LA

We chose this hotel for it's history and location, despite several negative reviews about room condition and staff. I'm happy to say, in our experience, the rooms were great and staff were all friendly and hospitable. We really enjoyed being able to walk around downtown LA , which is having a resurgence, on the many guided and self-guided walking tours. We would definitely choose this hotel again!

Comfortable and Classy

The Millenium Biltmore is a grand dame of hotels. Not only is it beautiful, it's also spacious, well apointed, and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable, and I had a good nights sleep. The location was perfect---close to the airport and the buisness district. This was the second time I stayed at the Biltmore, and it won't be the last.

Most elegant hotel ever

The hotel is beautiful, the service was superb, the bar and restaurant were elegant with good food and nice selection of wine and drinks. A first class experience all the way. Probably the best downtown hotel I've ever experienced. The staff in particular is warm, attentive, and went out of their way to be helpful in big and small ways. Only complaint: parking and internet are expensive.

Very helpful and friendly

The Biltmore Hotel lives up to its expectations. Large clean room with a built in desk and cabinets. Has 1 lounge chair with several floor lamps. Beds are very comfortable with one nightable. The bathroom rather small but comes with plenty of towels. Midnight snacks are delicious. One has to try the guacamole and salsa dip.

Fun location

The hotel itself was very majestic, we felt like we stepped into another world. The most fun was all the filming going on around the hotel everyday. We saw scenes from CSI:NY, a brand new feature film, Ugly Betty, and a commercial being shot all within two blocks of the hotel. Each day we wondered what we would see next. Also very convenient to the hotel, was the underground metro (many people do not realize that one exists). We rode it directly to Hollywood, where we saw the Kodak theater, Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Hollywood walk of fame, shopping and lots of fun souvenier shops.

Several small restaraunts and fast food places within walking distance. We were surprised at how early a lot of these closed for the evening. Downtown area winds down much earlier than we thought a big city would. Which was fine because our days were so full of sightseeing.

Great hotel for your money!

We stayed two nights. Everything was awesome. The only negative was the parking! $40.00 a day! So we parked around the corner for 6.60 for the day and over night was 13 something.. def worth it. Downtown area, not to shabby.

Cool history at the Biltmore

The history here was excellent. Vintage hotel with ghosts of past movie acedemy awards. Very Luxurious and comfortable. I can fell the past in the pictures on the walls of actors who stayed there. Built in 1923 but the rooms were outstanding. I would do this again in a heart beat.

Amazing time

My friend and I stayed in the Millennium Biltmore Hotel for a K-pop concert and we can honestly say we were not disappointed. First of all, two kpop groups we enjoy the most were staying there at the same time, it was filmed in a Korean drama I love and when we were leaving they were filming for an episode of Mad Men. That right there sold us on how popular it was. The service was friendly, helpful and very professional. The valet was a nice perk and so was getting the top floor. Our room was clean each time we went in and the hotel itself was gorgeous. We seriously loved it and we plan to us the same hotel when we go back again.
