very misleading info on orbitz

booked a handicap 'suite' and was shown to a five foot by twelve foot hole with a bed in it. furniture was missing handles, stains in carpet sheets and bedcovers. bathroom so small the door cannot be opened if a person is in the bathroom. definitely not a handicapped suite. was moved to another room on the 21st floor, and had a similar experience, except it was larger (not by much). fridge did not work, air conditioning on full blast from the moment we got in to the moment we left, and room never got below 88 degrees. very used furniture and bedding, stained towels and hairs in bathroom. Charges $30 per night for valet where there is only 1 employee, and it takes about an hour and a half to have your car brought up. Definitely opt for the self parking ( though even this is $24 per night). garden is beautiful, but almost always booked for a 'private party' so don't expect to actually walk around in it. overall? total waste of money. have had better service and rooms at the motel 6.

Total RIP-OFF!! Go somewhere else Save $

This hotel is total RIP-OFF! 1. hotel parking is $24 any time when you IN & OUT. there is parking lot right next to hotel but they don't have over night so You'll have to stick with HOTEL owned parking lots. (basically no choice but parking on hotel's) 2. Hotel charges $10 daily for Internet. now a days, every other hotel provides this for FREE I don't understand why this hotel is charging $10 for super slow internet service. 3. TV is analog old outdated, None flat small screen. Not many channels. Even $100 Holiday Inn has 38" LCD screen better screen. Definitely thumbs down! 3. Expensive breakfast & Room service charge. I've ordered $25 breakfast and management billed me room service + delivery fee + TAX = $51 on top of breakfast. (And this is not including TIP!) I've never ate this much expensive breakfast ever before. Even this breakfast is expensiver than DUBAI. Total RIP-OFF!* What the hack is delivery fee anyway?? Isn't it supposely included in room service? anyway room service charge is way too high! If you are looking for clean & nice/quite hotel, easy in&out. Please look for Mariott courtyard in Citadel or Holiday Inn express, They are MUCH MUCH better. This hotel is average but charge more than Ritz Carton Hotel. I will definitely not visit this hotel ever again.

For Federal Court great location

Hotel is well used, My room carpet was very stained, The AC does not have enough volume to cool the room. The Breakfeast buffet was good but not worth the $20.00 dollars changed. Nothing near by to go to eat. Little Toyko was a disapointment

Bad customer service

The room was clean and nice, but I had to wait 15 minutes to check in (with no one in front of me) while the one woman at the desk answered the phone. I had a meeting with a make-up artist with bags in my room, and it took 30 minutes for a bell captain to arrive. When I was heading out to my event one night, I went down to the self-serve parking only to find that the valets had parked about 5 cars in front of mine. I nearly missed the movie premiere I was in town for because of this, and no one even apologized.

Deceived by the photo slides

We were deceived by the photo slides of the Hotel Room. Thinking that we will be staying in a more stylish room, we went ahead to booked this hotel. However, when we got into the hotel room, we realised that its not what we see from this site. We managed to ask the hotel front desk, they mentioned that that room is an executive room. It was no where mentioned in the site. Tried calling the manager a couple of times. But not replies from him. What kind of customer service is that?

Not so good place

My husband and I did not like this place. The bathroom looked dirty because it has not been remodeled in a long time. The bathtub was just gross. It is not in the best place. We walked down the street to eat and there was not so good people around. I heard cops cars all night.

Unimpressed

Long wait lines at the front desk. Find out at the time of check-in that parking is $24/night for self park or $30/night for valet. Across the street is a self-park lot for 7 a night, so definitely go for that and save you a TON of money, along with possibly seeing your car from your room like we did. Make sure you check your invoice... because they'll charge you for parking, even if you didn't use it. Had to speak with the woman at the front desk to get the charges removed. Bathrooms were sub-par. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls, no ventilation fan for humidity of shower, light switch on the OUTSIDE (which was odd), dusty and mildew tiles in the bathroom as well. Also, 9.95 a night for internet? I've been to MANY hotels... and I did not expect to have to pay for internet at a hotel which tries to have a "luxury" ambiance, but finds ways to gouge you in any way they can. If you're a smoker, you have to smoke outside the front lobby or in the garden... but there are no butt cans or ash trays available on the garden level, just FYI. All in all, it wasn't a HORRIBLE experience... just a lot of oversight on details that you'd expect to be standard in a room for the price you're paying. 2*/5*
