Perfect Weekend
Had a perfect weekend at the JW. Everybody at the hotel was extremely friendly, and service was also perfect. Used crown limos for driving, they have to be the best in LA. Only thing I wish they had, complimentary wifi.

Short getaway from New York
Our stay at the JW Marriott was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. We especially liked the open lounge areas for grouping and conversation--the pool area was also enticing. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

TV Sucks!
For such a high end hotel, you'd think they'd at least have a high definition TV! The reception was terrible and the remote controls don't work properly, plus the TV menu is not user friendly or easy to navigate.

Have Been Here 3 Times Already!
The room is clean, nice, the view is nice, the location is in the middle of everything around LA Live. There is in-room dining (you can order wine and beer along with your meal as well). I've never had a bad experience and they also have a pool and a gym for those looking for a little extra. They also have a bar you can sit and relax at inside the hotel lobby. Definitely recommend it!

There's this cool place called the Yard House right next to the hotel! It's a sports bar with TV's everywhere. Their beer on tap selection is huge! The food is also pretty good and they have a wide variety of it, for different palate types. Pretty awesome place to watch Sports in!

My stay was enjoyable. The staff was very helpful. The service was excellent. I attended several events at the hotel, hosted by the NAACP Convention Staff.

Unbeatable location for the price
The hotel was beautiful, the views from the rooms are lovely. We felt safe and comfortable. The location was fantastic in the middle of LA Live across from the Staples Center, great access to taxis or public transportation. The only thing I didn't like was how the conceirge staff seemed to push the hotels very expensive city tours; rather than the LA Citysights, red, purple and yellow lines, which were much cheaper and excellent.

Very nice but some weird hiccups
Gorgeous hotel and very conveniently located to Staples Center and L.A. Live. However, there was a half-drunk cocktail in the fridge upon my arrival and the coffee maker wasn't cleaned (the coffee pod was in the machine which I discovered after I had tried to make a cup of tea). The customer service line was very apologetic but the housekeeping staff that came up to clean up did not get it. They took the drink after I gave it to him and changed out the coffee maker but didn't refill the tea bags.
