A Terrific Experience
Jules Sep 28, 2009
Truly enjoyed my four-star experience here and will return. The staff was not only friendly (ALL of them), but they were ... always right there and seemed eager to help. There were always 6-7 doormen available outside to assist with transportation and luggage and they greet you as you leave and return. I did have to call the desk because the hairdryer in the unit did not work but that was at night and still within 5 minutes, someone brought a new one by. I never felt like an inconvenience no matter what department I called. The staff members were observant and watchful for my needs. In some cases, they met those needs before I even expressed them. On my last day, they gladly stored my luggage so I could play tourist for the whole day. The pool was a little small but I loved the ability to get up in the morning and do a good pool workout and then hit the hot-tub. I had the pool to myself most of the time. I did not take advantage of any spa services, although I will next time. I also enjoyed my meal at the hotel restaurant. The spinach salad was good, as was the bread and wine.

The Century City/Westfield Open Air Mall is only about five blocks away. I found it quite by accident and enjoyed an entire day there. The food court has delicious choices and live music. There is also a great movie theater and of course, Macys, Bloomingdales, Banana Republic, Body Shop, GameStop and more.

LA Trip
Alex D Jul 21, 2009
Great hotel and location. Expansive lobby and main areas add to the luxury, rooms are great too. Reception desk is friendly, ... accomodating and helpful. We got full review of the LA locations and good map. Bathroom was excellent and roomy with lots of towels replaced daily. What I found strange though, is that in LA heat we got dawn blanket with no extra sheet. This blaket was too warm even for cold Canadian winters. TV was confusing, the moment I turned it on to check the weather, I was charged $10 to the room. But those were small things and overall impression of the hotel was excellent.

Great Central Location
Jerry Jul 11, 2009
Very nice hotel. Good central location, if your visting Hollywood Blvd. and Los Angeles area. Santa Monica Pier and Third ... Street Promanade and the Beaches are all close by. But you will need car to get around unless you taxi it. Parking in this srea of town is tough must use Parking garages and meters. Only thing I didn't like was the Valet Parking at $32 a day.

Excellent location and great hotel
alex Jul 5, 2009
Great location and very friendly profesional hotel staff. We did not have any chance to see the swimming pool or gym because ... we left early morning and came back really late to hotel every day. Very clean room. There is a very close shopping mall to hotel. They were saying it is a 5 star hotel and after I saw it I say they are right.

Impressive, Upmarket Hotel - with outstanding service.
Beverley Sep 10, 2008
Well located - walking distance to Century City Mall and 7 minutes from Rodeo Drive (by car). The service is amazing, ... staff well trained and friendly. Restuarandt very good. As we were there for 10 days we were upgraded to a junior suite which had a large spaceous lounge, which comfortably accomodated a couch, 2 armchairs, a desk, 2nd television and minibar. The bathroom was well appointed and roomy with both a tub and separate shower.I cannot however comment on the quality of deluxe rooms. Overall impression - Excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Short but Sweet
Larry Sep 8, 2007
We checked in late in the day and were gone by noon the next. Our short stay however was very nice. The staff was very ... helpful in finding us a place to spend an evening out. In a small suite like we stayed in I would have hoped for a large bath tub possibly even a Jacuzzi tub. Overall very good!

Excellent Staff
Donene Aug 22, 2007
The hotel's staff is top-notch. They were kind, helpful, knowledgeable and available. The room was spacious and clean with a ... gorgeous view but lacked a coffee-maker. I liked that there was ample room to put your things on the sink in the bathroom. Having the hotel car to run us hither and yon was incredibly helpful. My only complaint was the overly expensive restaurant had very little that I could eat and there were no alternatives except room service which turned out to be very good. And also that the ice maker did not work on our floor either of the days that I tried to use it. Luckily decent restaurants were only about 5-10 minutes away. We chose this hotel for the close proximity to Fox Studios and would likely stay there again.

The hotel car took us to a nearby out-door mall that was just lovely. And then picked us up when we called.
