TERRIBLE SERVICE
Just send a Fedex overnight morning package to guest at the hotel. Fedex showed delivery time at 8:51. Guest called twice. At 11am, front desk still said there is no package.

Great hotel for business travel
Hotel has been totally renovated and rehabbed. The common areas both inside and outside, especially the pool area are a great plus adding a more resort-like feel to what is essentially a business/corporate hotel. Room was spacious and well furnished--every room has a balcony. I could see the ocean--nice plus. Modern decor was very upscale, and an enjoyable environment. Staff provided excellent service, when checking-in and out. Appreciated staff referring to me as "Mr. (last name)" whenever I interacted with them, whether to pick up my car from valet, or call for room service.

"Fabulous Location"
The hotel was great. Clean, nice sized rooms. Loved the balcony overlooking the pool area - every room has a balcony too. The location was fabulous, about a mile walking distance to Beverly Hills shopping centers. Great mall across the street with wonderful restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful, but service to the room was slow - it took over an hour for us to get a rollaway bed the first night. (Due to a convention the hotel was hosting they were out of double beds and we got a king instead of our requested doubles. We got our doubles the second night there). If you want a coffeemaker in your room you have to ask for one, but it is free of charge. Not the hotel's fault, but there were several guests having a party on their balcony at 3 am our first night there and they were extremely loud. They were several floors above us, but we could still hear the noise quite clearly. If you want to get your exercise without paying for the health club, there are a few walking routes that the hotel provided for me. The weather was quite pleasant, and the routes were scenic, so a morning walk ended up being a very nice thing to do! Pool service was great, and there were always nice lounge chairs and umbrellas available for us to use.

Pleasant property, beware of costs
The room rate from [...] was fare. But they get you on the back-end with food, parking/valet, mini-bar prices. This is a business property. Prepare yourself for the $35 a day valet parking charge. If you self park, it's $20. But if you leave, it's $20 every 2 hours.

Hyatt Regency Century Plaza
Great hotel stay. From fast and efficient check-in through check-out, everything was tops. The recommendations for dinner from the concierge were right on target. Rooms were perfectly clean. The food served for the business meeting I attended was excellent. All opportunities for service were very personable and attentive. Would have preferred that the Hyatt took the time to label the TV stations in the room TV (CBS, FOX, etc.). As an out-of-towner, without the station labels pre-programmed, it was challenging to figure out the stations. Not a big deal, but the only customer moment that this Hyatt missed. [...]

Two great restaurants. If you like Italian try "Enoteca Drago". Terrific wine list, personable service and great food. Highly recommend this one. For a steak house try "Mastro's". Everything you would expect from a top notch steak house without eating at the same old chains.
