Not bad as I expected with the previews reviews

Remodeled elevator, big rooms, breakfast was simple but good (not bad coffee), a little bit of noise from cars in the afternoon (always expected in Los Angeles), nice staff, good bed, but the showers seemed new BUT not working very well. The location isn't the best. Korean town but It's easy to move around by bus because is walking distance from wilshire blvd. For the prices of Los Angeles and Beverly I think it was just ok, but seems like they are trying hard

BED BUGS! This place is a Motel, not a Hotel

Bed bugs, i should have read review....Bed bugs, bed bugs,,, and shower bath tub does't drain...... Wifi barely connects... They should've named as Motel, not Hotel... I cant say that this place has worst service because there is No service at all.

Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel...

We were there on a business trip for 5 days. Harassed daily about any little thing they could find. Extremely rude workers that would give us a hassle just for asking for a clean towel to shower with. Horrible experience and I or my company will never stay there or any Howard Johnson for that matter.

The Hotel was worth every penny !!

When I booked the hotel for a my vacation, I thought I might have booked a old sluggish hotel, but the in person visit changed my mind completely. The hotel was very comfortable. The hotel is a bit old, but it worth the less money you're spending The place was quiet and there was no disturbance. The room hallway carpets were a bit dirty, and the room was a bit smelly. But the room freshers solved that problem. The morning breakfast was simply awesome. The parking though would be full when u return late night, but the hotel management takes care of it perfectly providing reserve parking place. Parking is free too.. I would certainly recommend the place for a budget stay and will surely visit again

Scary!

We immediately went out and bought disinfectant sprays and cloths to wipe everything down. We had no idea it was in the middle of Koreatown and it was hardly very comfortable. The halls smelt of Raid (the roach killer) . The walls need to be repainted and serious replacements should be made to make it more updated and appealing. The bed was extremely comfortable, but when you were awake, it was kind of scary to be in the room. Very odd location and building. I would have spent more if I knew it was going to be so bad.

The Worst Hotel Ever!

This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever attempted to stay in. The parking garage was unsafe with homeless people camped out behind cars. When I entered the room it was completely disgusting with a mold-covered bathroom, funky carpets, and grimy surfaces. I asked to move to room that was clean and the next room was even worse! It was so dirty, noisy, and unsafe that I asked for a refund. I was told I had to call back on Monday and check with a manager. Called back and my calls were effectively evaded. This was the worse experience EVER. Stay clear of this place. Total waste of money.
