Hollywood Inn Express North

The room was large, nicely decorated, and very clean. Bed was comfortable; a small refrigerator we did not use ... would have preferred a coffee machine which the room lacked. Parking was just a few steps from our room . Many Thai and other ethnic restaurants within walking distance. The location is near the freeway . A basic continental breakfast to be taken to your room....small trays would have been convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy, very basic, but for the money a very pleasant stay. We would stay there again.

This is the WORST hotel/motel I've ever stayed at! The room was dingy and had an awful and unidentifiable smell, and the staff was absolutely horrible and could not have been any ruder if they tried! The parking lot was ridiculously small and cramped, and they had far less parking spots than rooms. I actually dented my car getting into the stupidly designed parking spot under the first floor of the hotel, and the manager actually came out after seeing me struggle and started yelling at me for whatever reason! I would have been better off sleeping in my car. I will NEVER stay here again!

This is a dump... The place look nothing like the pictures. The owner is professional at all, very rude. There was a chair, a bed sheet, a pillow, cookies/ dirt, and a towel in the pool. The office has paint chipping from the walls and very worn carpet. the room was disgusting.. This a fraud, he would refund my money so, we were force to stay. We put shet over the beds and did not use any blankets. Woke at 8:20, brush teeth. And left the sh it ty motel not HO tel... We basically ran out of the there and we were not the only ones. Hope this can helpdul to others.. Spend a lil more to get a nicer room.. I dont even think they clean room. Stains everywhere. Just NASTY... They need to update there pictures...

This motel was limited with there bath towels,bathroom tissue and not to mention the soda and ice machine was broken other then that it was fine,now would I stay there again....NO

The room smelt like pee and there were mutilipul stains on the carpet. It was THE WORST EXPERIENCE I have EVER had and I DO NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE! I felt like I was staying in the ghetto of Inns and it was the most horrifying thing I have EVER had to live through. IF YOU ARE SANE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Internet never work in my room/ Sometimes we got just hot water or cold water but we never were able to mix it to get the appropriate temperature. I will never stay there again -- No heater at room

The hotel was alright. There was nothing great about it yet there was nothing terrible either. The Hotel staff was average nothing special. Cleanliness was average. There was no remote in the room we stayed in. There was some damage on the inside of the hotel room a big dent in the main door. The bathroom door didn't latch shut. But for the price thats about what you should expect. The hotel is not in the best part of town, It is not dangerous at all, just not the best part.

I was in LA for a couple of interviews on a shoestring budget. You get what you pay for: shady characters and college-aged 20 somethings lurking around. The owner was not very friendly and spoke to me behind double-paned glass, the rooms lacked decent sound proofing from Hollywood Blvd. and private conversations, and my toilet ran for hours after flushing. On a positive note, great room service and friendly staff as well as a courtyard pool, jumpable from the terrace.

Despite their efforts to maintain a clean environment, the establishment could use a complete overhaul. The rug in my room was filthy and needs replacing. The TV's remote control was inoperable. The floorboards were weak and creaky. And, there was no hot water my entire long weekend there.
