Hollywood Hotel - The Hotel of Hollywood near Universal Studios

The rooms are comfortable but getting tired as they need updating. they also charge 16.00 per day to park your car. The location is good and the area is safe.

well they charge me 300.00 for the internet service gave me the bill the day I was leaving. but if they new that the internet sevice was going that high they should have notified me early during my stay . I do think that they were trying to get more money from me.then they turned around told me that I had to pay 1.89 for a call to the office I would never stay at that hotel but I still would tell friends to stay because it is very freindly clean and in a good area.

The hotel is close to Universal Studios and also close to Westwood where we wanted to go. That's why we chose this hotel. The room was quite large and the beds were comfortable. We had three people in the room and we liked the fact that we had a microwave and fridge.

This is an older hotel very close between many of the Hollywood sites and downtown LA. The price was very favorable. You could shop for less pricey but it would be hard to find. The room was generally clean and the bath area was old style (early 80's) but well maintained. The parking was 15 a day and had an attendant full-time. It is a gated area offering security and needed it. The neighborhood had a few eating establishments (Mexican food) two and three blocks south and was very good neighborhood places. I do not recommend spending time strolling the streets after dark. Although I did not see and problems occurring. LA traffic is bad on most freeways on most every day.

very clean, nice and cosy rooms, problems were fixed fast und good. Good location for Hollywood interested people. Bar too expensive for hotel category, breakfast variety was not too good, parking costs were kind of high. But overall hotel was nice.

The Ramada was quite comfortable and well located, although the room faced a busy street. No pool at this hotel but a small fitness room was well knept. Hotel staff were helpful making the stay worht the money.

After straigtening out the situation with my room upon check in. ( They tried to put me a room about the size of a broom closet without even a closet to hang my clothes up. )They then proceeded to put me in the older part of the hotel which hadn't been remodelled but the room was a nice size and it was acceptable. Nite staff not quite as pleasant as day time staff. over all decent value for the money in west hollywood.

Though the hotel needs updating, they started with the beds and have done a great job. We had the most luxurious linens and a very comfortable bed. That was our highest priority since we were only there to sleep. The free breakfast would be better if they did away with the powdered eggs - real ones could not be that much more difficult.

This hotel was very comfortable . And the best part was the location of the Hotel. Great Accessibilty!

I stayed here due to the relatively inexpensive cost per night. It's worth checking out if you need a decent hotel in LA but exact location is not a key factor (it is not close to Universal Studios or any other particular LA location for that matter). Overall, a great price.
