Nice hotel at a reasonable price.
Hotel was very convenient to airport, Griffith Park, and my daughters apartment. As I said earlier, no towel racks for we towels only issue. Continental breakfast is much more than expected. Eggs, sausages, and waffles.

good value,comfortable stay
Nice, clean,comfortable stay. Wasn't a 5-star hotel or luxorious...but it was a good price and good location for hollywood. We would stay there again if in the area.

Clean, not the best neighborhood
Good hotel for the price. However, we booked through [...] and they only reserved one queen bed for 3 adults! We had to pay an extra $40/night to upgrade to two queen beds once we arrived at the hotel. The price of our package was misleading. We also thought that the hotel staff was very unfriendly and unaccomodating. I would most likely try out a different hotel closer to Hollywood for my next stay.

LA break
Although not next to the Hollywood sights, it was straightforward to use the metro. The room was big enough with two double beds for a rollaway to be aded with room to spare. Breakfast, complimentary, was good

Hollywood Hotel Los Angeles
We visited UCLA. The exercise room had no ventilation. I mean none. It was 80 degrees just walking into the room. It smelled bad too. My daughter's room shower stall with bench seat allowed water to spill out onto the bathroom floor. My best experience, so far in hotels, has been with Holiday Inn Express. Checking out was a breeze there. At Hollywood Hotel, it was a nightmare- person didn't know how procedures.

Bad location
The hotel had a bad location, in a bad neighborhood. And the staff did not tell us that, we heard it from one of the cab drivers. The sevice at the hotel was good exept from the last day.

You get what you pay for..
Hotel was very old and Victorian looking. The shower got clogged during the first 5 minutes of my shower. The room had NO closet.
