Holiday Inn needs to up the game
I have to say to start that I'm a generally easygoing traveller, and understand that at value price you don't always get robes and fluffy towels. However, this has to be one of the worst-run operations I've ever encountered. Angry people at check-in with lost reso's, another guy whose room was sold twice (and he was walked in on while on the pot!) and the meal took, i kid you not, :45 to arrive. Room service got one thing wrong each time. Parking exit key didn't work upon departure, causing another delay. GAH! At least it was close to LMU/405/beaches and not too noisy.

Great location.
When we enter our room for the first time, the floor in front of the bathroom was wet and there were no towels. We called the room service and he came with towels in a few minutes. Although the floor was still wet and uncomfortable for two days or so, everything else was O.K. and we enjoyed staying at this hotel for it is located right by LAX and location is perfect!

bad experience
we had bad experience staying in the hotel. As soon as my family (2 adults + 1 teenage) landed into LA at 10-00 pm we certainly went to the hotel. During check-in in the hotel, we've been told that there is only 1 bed available in the room (king size), and it is a standard room on the hotel. When we said that a reservation was done for 3 people and 1 room, and it is understandable that 2 beds are needed, they said that yes the reservation was made for 3 people and standrad room which means in their meaning that 1 king size bed (which is absurd). By the way, nowehere in our reservation was mentioned that room has only 1 bed (even it is a king size) for 3 people. You can understand our disappoinment that we arrvive into the hotel at night at 10-00 pm, and had a flight next morning at 6-00 am, so it was no choice to change the hotel. Finally my husband had to sleep in a recliner chair. Very disappointing experience with this hotel! they should openly say on the web-site that 1 bed is avaialble in the room!!!

Needs a small frig

Broken Dreams
-Parking is NOT an amenity; they charge $10/day -Internet access is next to nothing on the upper floors -No refrigerator/minibars in rooms; they also charge $10/day -Several staff members were unfriendly and unhelpful -They seem to have a lack of communication with third-party hotel companies. We made a reservation for 5 adults 2 bedrooms, and Holiday Inn attempted to fit us all in one king size bed per room.
