entire block closed off for freeway construction each night. biggest ripoff of my life. they should have paid ME to stay there... BBB, Department of Commerce, Chamber of Commerce, and every other government/ private organization I can think of will hear of this scam. Including local media...

Fine! But terribly overpriced.

Needed a hotel near LAX that wasn't too far from Pasadena--we were there for the Rose Bowl and one couple was flying in late to LAX. This place is literally on the corner of the 405 and Santa Monica Blvd.--and I mean right on!!Traffic noise was horrendous--about 40% of the rooms face Santa Monica Blvd. The rooms are nicely re-done in an IKEA sort of way but this place is old!! Two levels of underground parking that have scary entrances and exits---and don't trust the ad--they charge $7 a day to park there---and there are no options. The breakfast buffet was quite good but the eating area is in the outdoor "atrium" on the second floor. It was 45 degrees there during our stay and the coffee was essential to keep our hands from going numb. The good- location was very handy to LAX, Santa Monica Pier, 3rd Street Promenade and an easy drive to Pasadena. If location matters, moderate cost is your goal and your expectations are kept in check---this is the place!

The only complaint I had is that the fitted sheets on the bed were skimpy; every night the bottom sheet came untucked the instant I turned over in bed. I don't think I'm especially athletic in my sleep, so I think the problem is the skimpy sheets. Other than that, the hotel was great. Nice continental breakfast, comfy room, as advertised. Close to I-405 (maybe too close) and Santa Monica Boulevard, and handy for going places in L.A.

Comfortable Beds, extremely clean room, friendly and helpful staff, sufficient parking, central location from all attractions, great breakfast will carry you for the day, would recommend and will definitely stay there again

Staff was very helpful. However, after I checked in and went out for dinner, when I came back there were three police officers and yellow tape on the doors. Apparently someone robbed or attempted to rob the front desk. There was no staff at front desk to explained what happened. So, I just took the elevator up to my room and secure the door .

I was in town for a brief visit for entertainment purposes, so the location was ideal...a hop on and off the freeway. The only problem was the noise from the heavy traffic. The room was impecable, bathroom was very clean, beds were surprisingly comfortable. Standards are well maintained at this location. Very nice layout of room and the decor was restful. I would definitely stay again at this location.

Friendly staff. Good inclusive breakfast. Free parking critical to me in an area where other hotels charge up to $25 dollars a day to park in their lots. Had Business in West Los Angeles. Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel if traffic noise is a concern since hotel is situated immediately next to freeway I-405 Santa Monica Boulevard. Clean stylish updated rooms. Free HBO, Sizeable Bathrooms.

It was clean, fully stocked with shampoo,conditioner, soap and lotion. My son was able to get a razor from the desk clerk. No bellhop, so as a female, it's good to know that ahead of time. Very friendly staff. They serve a moderately good breakfast. THe beds, location and noise level were excellent. Cleaverly designed room to give you a curved bench next to the desk to eat or have beverages with friends. TV options were good with HBO included and games for the younger set. THe parking was underground and they were generous about it. My visitors could park there and not give them any info. I'd stay there again, but for having to smoke in the garage.

The room was very comfortable and relaxing....the hotel was very close to the freeway exit and the on ramp so it was a good location......the exterior of the hotel was ok but again the room was great.....the location where the breakfast is served was a tiny tiny room but they offered a good start in terms of food. We were very close to the Westwood area which was the area we wanted to be close to..... All in all is was a pleasant stay the staff was fantastic......
