IN LA FOR BUSINESS
IT'S LIKE ANY ORDINARY REGULAR HOTEL. THE PARKING AREA AND THE CLOSING OF IT WAS GOOD. THE HOTEL AREA WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL NOR WAS THE ELEVATOR. THE SRVICE WAS NICE. AND IT WAS REMODELED SO EVERYTHING WAS NEW.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
To save money and have great food, I recommend Gelson's market a short drive away. Go west on Sunset from Comfort Inn, then turn right on Hyperion and you will drive right to it. It's about 3-5 miles away.

very few good eating places locally,and
very few good eating places locally,and the area towards downtown la has a few vagrants other than that i thought the hotel to be excellent.

less than average stay
The location wasn't bad but the rooms left plenty to be desired. Hot water didn't work when we first arrived and the beds were not very comfortable.

Stayed for one night on a work trip. Check in and check out were easy, bed was large and comfy, everything exceeded expectations for a hotel in this low price range. Complimentary breakfast was above average.

The Comfy Inn
A very adequate, clean Motor Inn. Very close to our daughter's home. We stay here alot. Although they never seem to remember us. The breakfast is a good addition. We really like the woman who services the breakfast.

City Sip L.A. Wine Bar on Sunset near Alvarado. Great atmosphere, mid-range prices, interesting boutique wines and great food pairings.

The hotel was nice and clean with a great location, the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on and the walls were paperthin.

Long walk from hotel
Most restaurants were a long walk, but, if the weather is good, it's a great way to get exercise.
