Great spot
The hotel is in a great location. 30 minutes from LAX airport, major highways, and downtown long beach. Short distance from beaches. The staff was friendly. Great help with early and late check in/out.

Family trip
Convenient location. Adjoining rooms with kids was smart. Arrived early and was able to check in early- nice. Maid service average to poor. Only one bar of soap--had to ask for more.

Convenient & Safe Location
I had a meeting at the Long Beach Convention Center. This made it so convenient as it is just less than a 5 minute walk to the hotel. It is close to the waterfront where several restaurants are located. The hotel staff is helpful. I got a room at the top floor being a starwood preferred member. The best feature of my room is the bed as it is very comfortable.

The hotel was nice, the front desk staff was very coutrious. I did have a few issues. First was when I arrived at my hotel room, there was food from the previous guest in front of the door, the tub had very poor drainage (they did fix this right away) and some requested seemed to be a very big challenge for the express service staff. I could not get them to bring a none textured towel to my room and they could not not find pricing to only press a suit and shirt. My other issue was the noise from the room across the hall with yelling and the fire alarm going off at 6:00 AM was not fun either.

Extremly comfortable business stay. the
i came for a show at the Long Beach convention center. The staff was great. smoothe checkin and out. most comfortable bed ever. free parking with in and out. I wish it had free internet.

I eat at Boston Pizza. Not very good and expensive for what it was. I had lunch at the Auld Dubliner. this was an excelent burger place with great staff and atmosphere.

great, convenient hotel
The Long Beach Westin was my hotel of choice when running the Long Beach half marathon in October 2008. It was close to the Long Beach airport; close to the convention center and close to the race's starting & finish lines. The heavenly bed & bathrooms were wonderful, especially after the run. Very comfortable & clean. The Starbucks coffee in the morning was also a great treat! They do have a parking lot, although there is a $14 daily fee to park. This, however, was worth it, to me. Many of their guests at the time were runners like me, and the staff was friendly and encouraging.

Very Pleasant, Comfortable, Professional
The Westin Long Beach Hotel was a very pleasant, comfortable, and professionally run hotel. Without being overly ostentatious, the hotel provided all the services and amenities needed for a very pleasant,effective business stay.

Hotel was very nice and was quite impressed that room service was available after midnight. The room had a distinct odor to it which smelled of mustiness. When reported to the front desk they came up to spray the room which masked the ordor.

Good Service - Attentive Staff
Westin Long Beach is a well run hotel with a very attentive staff. They were very friendly and clearly wanted to be helpful to new comers to the area. I would definitely recommend it.

Parkers Lighthouse with a view of the bay is a great evening dining option. 5-7 minutes away by taxi.
