Rodeway Inn Long Beach

i would definitely recommend this hotel. very clean and very friendly staff.

I arrived early and got into my room right away. The front desk staff wasn't overly friendly but they were efficient. The room was very nicely decorated and clean. I was in town for an event at the convention center, it was an easy ten minute walk. My biggest complaint (which is perhaps a silly one) is that the coffee in the office in the morning really wasn't very good. I would stay there again, the bed was very comfortable, the temperature controls were efficient, etc. Good for the price.

All major hotels were booked and we wanted a hotel located close to Pine and Shoerline Village. The picture of the room on the website looked nice and the price was much lower than the hotel we usually stay at. The hotel was actually very clean. It had nice bedding. Very central to everything. The only thing we did not like is that you have to have the door bolt locked in order for the AC to work. We came back to the hotel to rest and it was so hot. It took 1/2 an hour to cool. The window could not be open. There is no vent in the bathroom so it gets very hot when getting ready. The price should be a little less. On Saturday my friend booked a room and it cost as much as a higher end hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here at the Rodeway Inn in Long Beach. The rooms were super clean and were modern. They had flat screen televisions, duvets, extra thick comfortable pillows, a great bed ensemble. I slept well. The room also had a refrigerator and microwave. The hotel was close to the Convention Center where I went to. Location was superb.

The room had a really good feel to it as soon as we entered through the front door. The bed was nice and comfortable and the A.c system adjusted to our needs nicely. There was a good variety of movies on the television in the room. The continental breakfast was adequate. However, we felt the bathroom could have been bigger it felt and looked very cramped. Overall, it's a nice place to stay if your in the area.

Hotel clearly invested money outfitting rooms with new beds, furnishings, granite finishes, new carpet....an unexpected level of quality throughout. My room had some kind of fan that drew in ocean breeze and created white noise which made the room quiet and seem very private. Staff is alert and accommodating.

Good location, but there are some poor furniture and flies outside the room.

I could not park in my designated parking location, but parking in another location did not present a problem. There was a very strong cigarette smoke smell in my room. The room was very clean and well taken care of. The nights were peaceful and I had no problem sleeping.

Small but clean hotel, good location. Staff was friendly. They were remodeling and the parking lot was somewhat congested, but still had enough parking. Less than a mile from aquarium and "the Pike". Across the street, Subway, and nextdoor fairly good Mexican grille, which made it convenient if we wanted a snack later. Would recommend for no frills, clean and reasonably priced hotel.
