Great historical stay

We love history so we enjoyed this stay. There are several tours you can take. I took the ghost tour on Friday evening. Just walking the ship in the evenings and reviewing the history of it was very enjoyable. The only reason I rated it a "4" for maintenance is the age of the ship does not allow for perfect upkeep. They have worked to keep the ship in the 30s-40s style--which made it very characteristic. I would definitely stay there again.

Sightseeing tip: In Hotel

They have several shops and eating facilities on the ship. We enjoyed eating in the restaurant and looking at the Long Beach shore. The front of the ship has a neat bar area where you can sit and enjoy the lovely shoreline. We both really likes it.

Fantastic experience

Wonderful opportunity to live some history. Really appreciated the extent to which the ship was preserved. The old music playing really added to the atmosphere of yesteryear! The shops on board were great as was the ghost tour. Enjoyed being able to explore the ship in our own time. Shuttle into town every 30 minutes until 11 pm. Nice restaurants on board as well as in town on Pine ave, especially the seafood one. Loved the rooms. Lovely comfortable beds. Great balance between two eras.

"Special trip for 10yr. boy"

We went for our son's 10th birthday. He is obsessed with ocean liners, especially the Queen Mary. We explored the beautiful ship and did our own ghost hunting. We enjoyed the history the ship had to offer. The staff was very nice and helpful. So far, this is one of the best trips we have taken as a family. I know my son will never forget his 10th birthday:)
