Good Ambiance, Neat Experience-

Not much to do good for one or two days, not much longer. Also a lot of wedding prevented us from almost all of the restaurants at night-

That old time feeling

we had an interior Non-Smoking King room on the "B" deck. - lo and behold the room turned out to be a handicapped accessible room (which neither one of us required) The room was spacious, air conditioning worked (although i think it was more of a swamp cooler than anything) and you couldn't help but notice the lingering smell of old musty air in the room, the halls and pretty much everywhere. The most disgusting part is the carpeting in the room, i don't know if it was just in my room but i would warn anyone, do not walk barefoot in the room, the carpet looks clean, but when you set foot on it, you'll know what I'm talking about - the carpet is covered in dirt (like if they have never vacuumed and shampoo'd EVER) So dirty that if you walk barefoot on the carpet, then jump on the bed, you get that nasty sticky feeling under your feet as you move around in the sheets. GROSS! I don't think i ever need to stay there ever again.

Great Experience

The Hotel at Queen Mary was a last minute decision and we couldn't have been happier. It was interesting, beautiful, and an experience we wouldn't have usually been able to have. The staff was wonderful and the ability to explore the ship was delightful.

a step back in time

this is a lovely historic vessel with the charm and simplicity of days gone by. other than the walls being thin (so you could hear voices) the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good and staff were polite and friendly. The self guided tour was very interesting. the place was bustling with weddings and parties. I would go again.
