Great staff

When it comes to Motels in general, I knew what to expect, but this location has decent furniture and amenities. Looks like it was all refurnished recently. Small rooms, but it's what I was expecting. Staff was really great. Got to the motel about 4 hours early without notifying them, and they allowed us to check in early.

You get what you pay for

We were only there overnight before going on a cruise, and the location was very close to the pier. The location was good for a quick overnight stay, but I'd never stay there for any other reason. The shower was grimy, the remote didn't work, the beds were adequate but the pillows were terrible. The amenities were not really helpful, and the worst was I was told when making reservation that we would pay on leaving, but we were forced to pay as we arrived, and they wouldn't take credit cards! It was advertised as "cheap" and it lived up to its billing.

Clean, quiet. adequate.

The motel was located close to where I was doing business. It was clean, quiet and had adequate amenities for the single traveler, i.e. microwave, fridge, TV. The bed was surprisingly comfortable (I like firm). The attendant seemed to be resentful that I had interrupted the TV program he was watching. I did arrive late, after midnight, and I had informed them of that ahead of time. But, in fairness, he was Middle-eastern, and perhaps I was sensing a cultural conflict.I'd use the motel again if I was doing business close by.

There's an IHOP next door. The motel is on PC highway, so there's dozens of eateries in either direction.
