Long Beach Convention Center Travelodge

we found mold in the bathroom and dirt and stains in the room. We contacted the cleaning crew, twice and mold and dirt remained. We notified front desk and checked out 2 days early.

Clean, pleasant motel, once we got past the first room I was given, which was already occupied! And the bathtub stopper could have worked, that would have been nice. But seriously, a very good value for the money, and with the LB Passport shuttle bus (Red one), has easy access to the Convention Center. The little Mexican Grill, Galeana's, on the property has good, reasonably priced food.

For a motel in this class, it is excellent. Free parking in Long Beach is a good deal. The motel is well located with only a couple of blocks to a great beach, four blocks to ocean front shopping and the convention center. The staff is friendly and responsive. The facilities are clean and the rooms are of adequate size. Walk around the block and there are four or five local cafes and coffee shops. In all a great place to stay at a great price.

Rooms were refurbished, flat screen TVs, functional air conditioners. Good value for the money- this is not the Ritz, people. I found the area to be quiet. Close to a Von's, so that will save you money. Restaurant next door, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Convention center a few blocks away.

The hotel amenities listed there was FREE high-speed internet access. When I plugged in my laptop I was prompted to pay $7.95 per day access fee.

I would avoid this hotel, if possible. I requested a non-smoking room and was told upon check-in that none were available and that there was nothing they could do. The staff was less than friendly. The room was in poor condition with light fixtures coming off the walls and a terrible shower head. The location was fine (I was attending a conference at the convention center, which was ~4 blocks away, but this did not make up for the service and room.

We were there for the Long Beach 'International Quilt Show" it was close.. Staff was Very Friendly & helpful... Only 2 problems Bed was SO HARD UGH !!! Also not very good for Handicap or anyone whom doesn't walk well.. Only 1 Elevator & Ice on 1 side of Bldg. so our room was on the opposite side of the Bldg. & it was a Very Long walk as Mom has trouble walking up stairs... I did as to be close to elevator & why but was given a room on the Far side of hotel, so it was a Long Slow walk for her... Other than that, it was good... Oh ya right next door to Von's !!! Refrigerator but no Microwave if you are staying for awhile

I've stayed at the hotel two other times. It is a clean, basic hotel. They are very kind and helpful. The price is right.

I was in town for a conference at the convention center and found Travelodge a great value. It was clean, within walking distance of the convention center, a grocery store, the beach, and many restaurants. Free parking (though a little crowded on the weekend) was a plus.
