Visiting Grandma
I wouldn't stay there
I reserved a room for my daughter and niece who were planning to visit from out of town. They were unable to come after all due to illness and the agent contacted the manager an hour later. He didn't care about the circumstance and refused to give me any credit on the money I paid. Therefore, I would never reserve a room there again.

Wonderful except for the housekeeping
The location was great, near several restaurants and the aquarium. The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the fitness center, it was small but had good modern equipment, a small fridge with cool face cloths and a nice flat screen tv. My only real complaint was the cleanliness of my room. It appeared to be clean at first glance but the sofa and the bathroom continued to reveal hairs that were not mine, YECHHH!! The sofa and room needed a good vacuuming.

Longbeach for Life
Great for a Couple or Family
We moved from LongBeach 10 years ago, and it was a great place then. Returning we could not believe the upgrades and the amenities there now. And the Hyatt puts everything within walking distance. We really hate we left. Great time, great Hotel, great city. Go visit.

Hyatt Regency Long Beach
Nice Hotel, rooms are spacious and comfortable. I liked the hand that greeted me when I walked in with a golden apple. The only thing I did not like about booking through O**itz is that I was told at the Hyatt that I would not get Hyatt points since I booked through O**itz instead of directly with the hotel..I'm still spending the money and should receive credit for staying at the hotel.....

If you walk up a block to Pine and Ocean and want to travel around downtown to the attractions...take the A or D Passport bus...it's free to ride around downtown.....vs taking a taxi

Exactly what I needed
Very friendly, helpful staff. Great location right on Long Beach Harbor. The hotel not only has two great eating options on site but is also located within walking distance of several eateries. The only area of complaint is that after I ran out of the disposable coffe cups that were provided they were not restocked for the remainder of my stay. Although, I'm more than confident they would have brought more if I had requested them.

Fantastic couple getaway
My husband and I needed to get away for a weekend and fom the moment that we walked into the Hotel we can not complain. We were treated very good and we had a fantastic getaway.. We are now planning another but this time with our children.

Conference get away
Overall good trip, good room, friendly staff But no mini fridge to keep things cold?!? In a hotel of this caliber I was disappointed. But not enough to not go again. Also under renovation would have been nice to know about it but since I was not there during the day it did not affect me that much. Work hours were 8-6. If I would have been on vacation I would have been upset.

Hotel is nice and conveniently located in Long Beach. It would have been nice if Orbitz would have informed us that we wont get the Hyatt point for our stay.
