Clean but unspectacular
HBO didn't work. On a Sunday morning at 9:05 a knock at the door to see about cleaning my room even though I was staying over another night. THE most uncomfortable bed I've been in since I don't know when. Very convenient and staff was pleasant. Lots of restaurants close by and close to the Pacific.

unhappy customer
The pictures are deceiving. The only picture that resembles is the lobby. The room we rented was not refurbished. Loud guests argueing and the cops were called. Tried receiving a refund but did not receive. Will not ever stay there again.

FROM BAD TO BETTER TO WORSE
THE KINGSIZE BED WAS WHAT WE BOOKED. MY WIFE & I ENDED UP WITH 2 DOUBLE BEDS. THERE WAS NO HOT WATER. THE FRONT DESK DIDN'T HELP ON ANY OF THESE ISSUES. THE ROOM HAD AN OLD TV AND NO PICTURES ON THE WALLS. THERE WAS A LARGE CROWD WHICH MADE NOISE ALL NIGHT. LASTLY-THIS PLACE WAS VERY OVERPRICED. NOTHING LIKE THE $110.00 I SPENT. MOTEL 6 WOULD HAVE SO MUCH BETTER AND WORTH THE PRICE. BEWARE IF YOU BOOK HERE.

We were disappointed with our stay at th
We were disappointed with our stay at the Hotel Current. They have gone downhill since becoming a private venture (no longer franchised). Breakfast is no longer served in the lobby, but removed to a separate room with less offerings and not well presented and cared for. It seems that they have started to upgrade some of their rooms, but since we had gotten a "good deal" through [...], we were housed way in the back in one of the old rooms. The location is excellent for us to spend time with our son, but we probably will choose another place next time.

Good locarion for the price
There was no high speed internet in my room. This made it hard for me to be productive after hours. Houskeeping took my beer from the refrigerator on the first cleaning. On the second cleaning they did not supply coffee or sugar/creamer.

This is an excellent hotel if you have pets. The $10.00 a nite pet fee is reasonable, compared to other hotels.The frig and micro help too.The pool area is beautiful, however it was closed for a few days while we were there. I however, was compensated for the inconvience.The room is small but you can manage. Beds are comfortable.Location excellent if you want to go to the beach.

Perfect
Hotel Current is UNREAL! Perfect for traveling on a budget, got way more than i expected. I couldnt fault a thing about my stay... i stayed there at the start and end of my US trip, and next time i go back to the US, hotel current will be the first hotel i book.

Very clean room, everything working
Very clean room, everything working fine. Got a call from the front desk after check-in to make sure everything was OK, a nice touch. Very friendly staff and efficient housekeeping. Very quiet. Did not try breakfast, so no comment here. The main drawback is sloooow internet connection (barely useable for e-mail), although this might have been specific to our room location. Overall, a very good value

Visit of Long Beach
Hotel was very close to our destination which was Long Beach university and free shuttle service came in very handy for visiting different parts of city.
